@eddypikachu As of only Sonic Battle, he pretty much died, yeah, but people get revived (or revealed to not be dead, or whatever) all the time in stories like that. Canon-wise, that is still him, which is why he gets this remix of his theme and his artwork in this game is just a modification from his artwork of Sonic Battle.

Call him remodeled or whatever fits best, it's still the same individual.

Emerl didnt Die, He kinda just exploded/disapeared off the face of the galaxy, and yes because they look alike doesnt mean they are the same. @eddypikachu If you wanna get technical, I remember the manual saying that Eggman got Emerl's remaining parts. That's as much as you can get out of something like a Sonic game.

And what do you have to say about the artwork? It's the *exact* same shape and pose, aside from the new horn part.

@Tiomasta Well they might have just been good with the whole robot thing since it was the thing since sonic battle ended so maybe they decided that they could use another robot. Oh and about the manual thing you remembered wrong, it says and I quote "He's used his engineering genuis to perfect the ultimate fighting robot, and will do all he can to stand in Sonic's way." He didnt use emerls parts to build the robot

The first part of the post is when Im talking about the sonic team being used to fighting robots ever since sonic battle so they made up a new one because maybe they were used to them

Used to them? You mean these could be a coincidence? No way. These two are precisely the only ones they've made, ever (any other robot was a giant mecha which doesn't resemble Emerl in any way). Saying that how all of the similarities between Emerl and Gmerl are coincidences and not intended at all is just plain silly.

in my opinion, this song is sad because in sonic battle, you have to kill your robot friend, Emerl. then in sonic adv. 3, eggman makes Gemerl from Emerl and again you have to kill him. The begining sounds evil and corrupted, and then the rest of the song sounds like if it was Emerl's theme or somethin.

Even though the song's called "Nonaggression", it still spells out "Betrayal". Also, the song's a bit creepy at times. And, I could easily imagine Sonic turning into Evil Super Sonic (from the comics) and wreaking havoc upon the area.
