Not one of my favorite bands but, one of my favorite songs. I only know a couple Tom Petty & The Heartbreaker songs so like yeah...if anyone could i'd love to have some recomended to me, I only know this song, You Got Lucky, Free Fallin', and then my absolute favorite I Won't Back Down.
"American Girl" was their first hit here in Canada, and perhaps an indication of what came next.
A year or 2 after this performance, TP& the Heartbreakers were playing at a community college down the street from me. This is in North Toronto, Canada. I'm SO glad I went to that show. I"ll never forget it as long as I live!
They played songs from their "Damn The Torpedoes" album, including "Refugee".
It's Zeppelin dammit! they are definitely one of the best bands out there, I wish they would do another North American tour i would love to see them live but it's only a dream it will never happen.
There's just something so "American" about it, the title, the group, the jangly guitars, the fact they are underrated artists. Zeppelin is good but half their stuff is just so boring. If I had to pick one song to listen to for the rest of my life it would be AG.
Truly the best and still rocks.

What did Tom Petty say? "Don't bore us, get to the chorus."
Zepplin is an amazing band though.

My favorite band is Led Zeppelin. But, I love this performance. Petty has so many great songs, and performances.

Buffalobraves9 is correct! Led Zepplin is mighty but Tom Petty and his Heartbreakers are the Greatest.

Never agreed with anyone more. TPATH are so underrated. And to me, all of Zeppelin's stuff sounds the same--boring.
TPATH are possible the best sounding live band of all time...everything is always perfect
