@Armornone Actually, no. The strain they use for industrial hemp has actually been specifically bred to contain no THC. In fact, some people who are both pro-industrial hemp and anti-drug, have suggested sprinkling industrial hemp seeds from planes over outdoor weed grow-ops, causing the THC-free hemp to cross-pollenate with the weed, thereby destroying its potency.

@Armornone Actually, it's not. Hemp fiber and the part of the marijuana plant that people smoke come from two different parts of the plant. The part that people smoke is the flower. Hemp comes from the stalk. The flower is the only part of the plant that contains high enough levels of THC to have any effect. Even in the most potent strains, trying to smoke the stalk will only give you a headache. Nonetheless, just to please people like you, a strain was created with no THC, even in the flowers.

@yerk3 Funny, Its still classified as a schedule 1 drug( the worst drug possible) and you lost prop 19( you loser) in the most liberal state in the US which is full of hippies and millions of you pothead are in jail. @Armornone It is misclassified as a schedule 1 drug. The law does not define how harmful a substance is, or any other aspect of reality. In reality, weed is so far from "the worst drug possible," the classification is ludicrous. What is also ludicrous is that the law would treat the entire plant as one substance, with the same level of THC throughout, rahter than a THC-laden flower on a THC-free stalk.

@Armornone Again, your gloating over the "defeat" of Prop 19 is laughably premature. The margins by which it lost are razor thin, there was a low voter turnout this year, especially among young voters, which is normal, considering that it wasn't a Presidential election season, it's going to be back again in 2012, and you won't be so lucky then.
