  • Toca = Codecrappers = Shit

  • lol., Toca is Arcade game and rfactor is racing simulator ;) it is incomparably

  • What wheel and what shifter are you using?

  • I race in a leage that are all obsessed with the v8s on toca 3, they will not fucking accept that the GAME is a piece of shit and handles like the average rollerskate. rfactor is the only real racer at the moment and the only one better so far physics wise is LFS, but it is also pretty much unmoddable so it doesnt count ;)

  • All the Toca games have always been kiddy arcade games.

  • Toca is a game and rFactor is a simulator :)

  • I post another comment because you're fucking right!!!

  • I completly agree with you, i think that TOCA 3 its not a racing simulator, but rFactor yes

  • que forma de tratar los cambios se te ban a dañar!

  • jajajaaj siii ,, igualmente es un logitech,, no le hace tanto daño. yo tengo el mismo volante con el mismo sistema de cambios y lo cuido como al oro!! =)

  • lol great man great, good vid. good driving too.

  • "That's SO realistic" ROTFL

  • i enjoyed your driving :) thanks dude

  • n00b

  • I tried that experiment with the ps2 version and got completely different results it may just be the pc support for the wheel that sucks. But Rfactor does still seem the far superior game.

  • Rfactor is superior to gtr2 hands down, so definitely kills toca no question, the v8 supercar mod for it is best v8 supercar mod yet, i know that!, and theres f1 all sorts. rfactor gtr evolution or gtr2 and live for speed s2=driving heaven.

  • a good driving sim is live for speed

  • I should get that...whichever one was more realistic. Good for practice. I don't have my permit, but that'd be good for practice...and I wouldn't get into any accidents :o

  • huh...that is pretty unrealistic. Notice how the camera slowly moves away...lol...kinda funny.

  • Actually "holmes", I have an XBox, and the wheel for it is crap compared to the one in the video, not to mention the games are junk as far as realism is concerned.

And I never claimed to be "the man" at sim racing. I prefer to spend my time and money on the actual race car.

But thanks for trolling. I appreciate the additional comments people like you generate from the non-retards that will show up to flame you.

  • looks like you need lessons in setting up your wheel, as in toca your wheel is not setup at all, and in rfactor, you have it half setup...I suggest you go online to some forums and get some advice

    cheers

  • @V8SUPERCARSTOCA3 I wouldn't be surprised if in the last 4 years, Toca may have been updated to fix their awful wheel support, or even that there may be some tweaks I'm unaware of to make it work better.

But... it's 4 years later! Why bother to re-install a game so old? Even if the wheel works better now, the game is still ancient in terms of the sim racing world. In fact, I don't even have rFactor installed anymore since it feels old too. I'm happy with iRacing, no need to go back in time!

  • wow dude ur a real moron. momo is a great wheel and so is the shifter... who gives a fuck about the screen ??? i have a 19 inch tube monitor and dfp... so it means i suck at simracing ??? couse of my monitor ?

  • @theranster9 hey fuck nuts u shur think your the king of simracing dont u alot of pro simracers u a momo retard

  • @simracer13 With that kind of grammar, my best advice to you is to stay in school.

  • Your right the DTM cars are toooooo fast the cant reach 300 km/h at Hockenheim

  • Unfortunately the whining gear noise is a side effect of those older force-feedback wheels. The new wheels, like Logitech's G25, are supposed to be much quieter.

And when you're driving you don't really notice it, but I'm sure it drives people in the other room nuts.

  • I agree! Toca3 sucks compared to rFactor !!!

    waste of money!

  • Oh, and also: Rfactor has some amazing sounds and sights. I've never even heard of the game before...

  • The wheel's a Logitech Momo Race wheel, the shifter is an ACTLabs USB shifter, and the pedals are cobbled together from two old Thrustmaster pedal units, giving me gas, brake and clutch. Having 3 devices is kind of a PITA to setup, but when it works, it rocks!

  • Ahh, the shifter is what I was most intresed in, that, and the clutch.

I've got the DFP, and while I like the shifter, I've always wanted an H pattern shift. Kudos on the setup, for sure :).

  • I'm in love with your wheel, and that game.
