@mosesxiaomin Well said, though I'd like to add that it's just conserving species that it's important, but respecting the individual rights of each animal on Earth, human or nonhuman. While to my knowledge Shiva doesn't advocate veganism (I think she advocates mostly vegetarian diets, though), veganism is definitely consistent with her philosophy. I think we have to reject the view that some beings may use and exploit other beings, no matter who they are.
