  • Great job...........

  • Nice

  • Wow! I've been practicing this tune a lot lately and I thought I had it down pretty good. But this video smacks me down so hard my grandchildren will feel it! Nicely done my friend.

  • Thanks for the note. Everyone, at every level feels the same way as you at many times. There is always someone better. We all play for the love of the music and there is forever more to learn with higher goals to shoot for. Just keep it fun.

  • Nice!

  • Beautiful performance! Clawhammer forever!!!

  • You're outstanding! I wish I could do that.

  • That was great.

  • really nice playing, what kind of banjo is that?

  • Its a Gibson long neck. I think the model is RB250 but I redid the neck and peg head so who knows what it is.

  • @banjodulce the more i listen the more i love it... been using it as a benchmark for my practicing (especially helpful to get more comfortable with drop-thumbing). would love to see you start posting videos again!

I've been thinking of getting a long neck, as the people i play with most often use E or G tunings, and that way I'd be able to handle both pretty easily.

  • Great clawhammer!

  • Clean as a (old time) whistle. Thanks

  • Great playing. Real clean.

  • An African Instrument. Well played!

  • Is this done in G tuning?

  • It is in G, just on a long neck.

  • One of the best J C I've heard

  • Nice I like your style.

  • That was great, I'm learning that song now with double thumbing you were a great help thanks. Ken

  • Thanks a bunch. I may need to get some bigger hats.

  • hey now thats gooooooood! thx for sharin ur awesome talent

  • That was awesome banjodulce..I liked the tone of that song played up on the neck..

  • Great playin' - great tune!

  • I really like this traditional, I prefer it played on the fiddle in general but I think your version on the banjo is very good.

  • Do you know Joe MacKenzie, the stringed instrument player?

  • This would sound good on an electric banjo.

  • How long have you been playin?

  • Well, I've been "playin" my whole life, but I've used the Banjo for about 38 years now.

  • I guess that would explain why you rock so much. I've been playing for only a couple of months, but I practice for hours everyday; I'm totally addicted! Make more videos!

  • wow good!!!

  • Forked Deer while you're about it.....
