resonator ukulele rag

Im getting a steel resonator uke. Do you use normal strings on it?

@Sculpi - normal (high tension) uke strings, yes.

@LifeBringsMusic - that is not a dobro, it is a National Triolian...and no, it is just heavy wear on the dyed maple fretboard.

@DiamondGeezerDude - it is a cheapo "Republic" uke. Needed fretwork, better nut slots, better bridge saddle slots, etc. It sounds and plays ok now, but it was a disaster when I got it.

@migasaguiar haha I'm pretty sure it isn't 12th Street Rag! It was just something I made up on the spot - I'm not a ukulele player.

Search for "Lightnin' Wells: 12th Street Rag" on here - THAT is 12th St Rag and a pretty damn cool version, at that! I couldn't play like that guy if my life depended on it.
