You can't compare these two cars. When you want to compare the R8 with the GT2 you sould at least take the V10. But even when you take the V10 the GT2 will be a bit faster. But I don't care i would take the R8 V10 over anything. I saw one yesterday omg it looks fantastic!!!!
An R8 is an everyday supercar, like the 911 turbo. the GT2 however is a track day car. I don't think you can compare two very diferent cars like this. Wait for a track version of the R8 and compare that to a GT2.
