Thanks to everyone for the very generous comments :-) To answer all the questions: The basic chords I'm playing here are C-Am-F, G-C, Am-G (x2) for verses, C-G, Am-G, F (slide 2)-C on chorus, and F-G-F-G, F-G-C (x2) on bridge with capo on 3rd fret. Guitar is a Gretsch Historic Series acoustic/electric and it has a great feel and tone but a large body, which makes it a little unwieldy so beware :) I'm from all over the US (midwest and both coasts in pretty much equal parts).
