  • ME ENCANTA ESTE VIDEO, ES IMPRESIONANTE COMO EL TECNO ES TAN HERMOSO Y TAN AGRADABLE AL OIDO. EL QUE DESEE ESCRIBIRME EN ESPAÑOL, BIENVENIDO. HASTA LUEGO.SARASTROYE

  • @Mrsarastroye This is not "Youtube Mexico"...speak english or go away!

Saludos!

  • Love this song, off their CD of the same title. Actually the whole CD is pretty damn good. Check it out if you can get your hands on it. Highly recommended. There are passages when the lead singer sounds like David Gahan of Depeche Mode. It's too bad Cause & Effect never got more recognition.

  • What ever happen to groups such as this. The music now days will never compare to the music of yester years.

  • cause and effect made great music ,i think if people would have given them a chance they prolly would been as big as Tears for Fears

  • can someone please tell me where to find cause and effect's song 'nothing comes to mind' or upload it please had cd for years and lost it great song can't believe i can't find it on u tube thanks

  • his voice sounds like david gaham of depeche mode

  • I love the voice of the female backup singer who comes in near the end (about 6:33). I read once it was one of the band members girlfriends and she never professionally recorded anything else :(

  • @LavaLampBlob I totally agree. The female backup singer is the best part of the song.

  • no comparen por favor!!!los grupos de rock se parecen todos y nadie dice nada!disfruten amigos!!!!no hay nada como esta dulce musica!!!!

  • depeche mode.camouflage.jumprava. cause & effect.era sure.golden synthpop nice

  • was sean rowley the singer or the guy behind the keyboard?

  • @aclopezestrada Keyboard guy.

  • cuhscma chusma phdddddd

    teyible copion... get a life...

  • check out my channel, just hit markryan1963, over 500 video's... all music

  • Лучшие ПАРНИ !!!

  • since sean rowley died it was hard for the band to really do anything. Even though they have put out some good music I think that rowley's death had alot to do with them trying to make a comeback. However would still love to find another copy of another minute

  • Has Good!!!!

  • Как дллго я это искала!

  • Thats a stretch!!! Dave Gahan is wayyyyyy more talented!!!

  • the vocals are equal to david gahan of depeche mode.

  • @tecnoborg75 Equal to Dave Gahan? Never! Trying to be equal to Dave Gahan? I don't blame him.

  • @JaveDMode You couldn't have put it clearer!

  • I'm totally a stubborn anglo music person and like this type of dance music which doesn't exist in this world due to no -energy music being pushed as hot club music. I was fine with Egyptian Lover and stuff like that for dance music mixed with music like this..but i can't stand this crunk and macho hip hop they play in a lot clubs nowadays..that's why i quit dj'ing till decent music returns to the clubs.

  • It's funny how I hear about people saying "make another album!". Hello, one of the guys is dead. I love these guys, but they arent coming back folks, at least not both of them. Unless you can raise the dead. Good stuff though, love them.

  • Comment removed

  • I like the music but singer has got strange ways of acting.

Also wondering why he has the bass guitar if he's not playing it.

    Weird.

  • Awesome band and his voice kicks ass.Takes me back to 7th grade.

  • Man! this singer had a lot of fun making this videos! so hot soo sexy!

Great song! excelent music! please come to vancouver B.C for a concert! Pleaseeeee!

  • they can't they are not playing anymore one of them is dead

  • @vaex23 They released 2 albums after Sean died. Trip and Innermost Station.

  • Great voice! Too bad this style of good, clean, dance music is no longer existent all due to the music industry stubbornly showcasing nigger music with their egotistical, macho lyrics and sound.

  • @psychedelictwin I greee with you on everything EXCEPT the racial slurs. There's no need to be offensive and racist. We all can appreciate good music, regardless of color or race.

  • @psychedelictwin Wow. With a vernacular like that and such sardonic wit, you should write for a Rollin Stone. Anyway this "nigger" loves Cause and Effect. I miss the 90's.

  • @psychedelictwin nice racism there, kid.

  • @psychedelictwin sad but true

  • Is there a remix/extended version of this song? Or was it ever released as a single?

  • My favorite song by them is "In Shakespeare's Garden". Haven't seen/heard it on youtube yet though.

  • C&E, what separates you from so many others is passion. Please, PLEASE get back in the studio! "Trip" will always be my favorite album.

    Why so silent, guys!

  • Sean was sooooo cute.

  • depeche mode forever!!!sorry guys....

  • this band is forever in my playlist

  • Timeless Music, Love every min. Of it!

    L.Sufi

  • Reminds me of Human League "Heart Like a Wheel".

Love Cause and Effect!! Sean was sooo cute.

  • I wouldn't mind having this guy's voice, OR his looks.

  • God, I thought You Think You Know Her sounded like Depeche Mode. This could have come off the Some Great Reward album! You know, it's easy to ape someone else's sound, but to actually replicate the *style* without just copying the music takes effort and talent. This band is frakkin' cool!

  • When they came out I thought it was a new Depeche Mode song...I hear they were out of Houston Texas..

  • I saw them just two weeks before Sean died. Such a pity.

  • The sad thing is he doesnt even use the guitar, lol.

  • Cause and Effect rule! They are in the same league as Camouflage, The Fashion Police, Red Flag, Rus Stewart, and Anything Box. This is a fantastic video...a lovely synthpop gem of classic New Wave.

  • Still a great song after so many years!

  • haha, i had this on tape :)

  • OMG!!! Remember when MTV came to Belmar, NJ in 1992 and Cause and Effect were the guest musical artist??? Another Minute was a great album. I think it is practically out of print now. I lost my old CD.

I remember their sound reminded me of Depeche Mode ---my all-time favorite band in the world!!!

  • It was so sad when Sean died. A friend of mine was attending that show. We still listen to their old - and new - stuff all the time. Great voice.

  • what happened to this band?

  • best song from them in my opinion.Love this band.Nothing comes to mind was really good too.

  • His voice is almost the same as Depeche

  • And he almost reminds me of Roland Orzubal from Tears For Fears.

  • which I love this band and I LOVE!!! Tears for Fears, lol.

  • Cute singer, funny how he carries a guitar as a prop while dancing around in front of the mic. I hear no guitar sounds until the 2nd version comes on.

  • great song!!

  • What's with the two different versions of this track? I prefer the second single remix! It is reminiscent of the muscular production on Trip.

  • the album "trip" was the high point for thease guys. this song "Another Minute," is however a wonderful song. years later after "trip" this band has rebounded nicely with the "sunrise ep" wish the new album would hurry up and see the light of day.

"innermost station" is an ok album... but only a must for the die hard c&e fans.

  • Trip is one of my favorite albums of the 90's. This track has a gentle melody and a dated synth sound, but it is still a smooth slick pop gem!

  • Great sound not very unlike Depeche. Can't blame for being inspired by such a great band.

  • sounds more like camouflage I have to say...

  • Underrated synth pop band. Been a fan ever since the re-release of Another Minute in 1991. I'll still buy anything they put out.

I finally got to see them play in Houston I believe in early 2004.

  • Um no, they were very Depeche Mode and Tears For Fears for sure. If they were backstreet boys like, they would have been known by teenage girls all around, like O town, 98%, Nsync, New Kids On The Block, and so on.

  • God, I remember this song. I tried to find "Over Now" (I think that's what it's called. If you have it, please post it! Great song too. God there are SO many bands in southern Cal who ADORE Depeche Mode. This is probably the first pro-band that made it fairly big with DM as thier biggest inspiration.

  • One of the best songs from an upstart synthpop band at that time, too bad the keyboardist died before they could achieve fame

  • They acheived quite a bit of fame after Sean's passing. Not only did they have song appearing on television shows and movie soundtracks, but they also with only word of mouth promotion got a Billboard Top Ten single for Into The Light in 2003.

  • this bad would've had a future

  • Not only did Cause & Effect have a future, but they are still around, have released two studio albums and one EP after Another Minute, and are in the studio working on their latest release.

  • really!? can't wait

  • I've been looking a version of "what do you see" song that it is not included in "another minute" cd. Could anyone tell me where can I get the single? Thanks.

  • OMG I love this Band!!!

    BTW My dad meet them!

  • They are also similar to Camoflauge. The great commandment.....

I loved C&E, went away too soon!!

  • What a coincident! I just heard the full version of "The Great Commandment" just this morning and it prompted me to look up songs by Cause & Effect, really. I was looking for "It's Over Now" and "You Think You Know Her". Man I was researching the German's chart history just about a 1/2 hour ago.

  • OMG! I remember seeing these guys live back when this song came out! This is such a great song. I remeber when all the boys had the singers hair cut! What a cutie!

  • Ohhhh the nostalgia...the very first CD I bought when I made the change from cassettes to CD's....Makes me feel 16 again!

  • libanark - the video is "You Think You Know Her" (part of the lyrics are "the things she said").

  • Lads & Lasses, does anyone have Things She Said video? heard it on the radio and i realised it's a great track, and brought so many (good) memories back.

there's no music like these nowadays... or am i get old already???

  • ahh take me back to 1992!!! this got me throuigh a major DM lag, such a great voice.

  • great song, finally i got the song after ages.

  • Excellent Video!

I am looking this video in High-quallity or Daryl Hall & John Oates-out of touch, im Vj and have 80's productions in youtube.

    I have arround 5,000... 70's 80's some 90's Clean videos (not logos)

  • I was a huge Cause and Effect fan, I was also I huge Depeche Mode fan too and remembered when I first heard this song and thinking it was DM. Great band, great times! Thanks for posting!

  • what a great band. I agree they could have been the next Depeche Mode. Oh well. thanx for posting!

  • This brings back memories!! I still have this tape! Couldn't get enough of their music back in the day.

  • they have alot of good songs too bad they dont have more videos here.

  • can we get Dave Gahan to sing this at a DM show? That's my wet dream... and maybe he can do a camouflage song too !

  • that`s not a bad idea!I`m sure he would be able to sing cause&effect and camouflage...and do you know what would be even cooler-the three singers altogether onstage performing 3 different songs at the same time, and Alan returning to Depeche and...I got carried away...XD

  • i never heard this song, but i do have the You Think You Know Her cassette single. another synth-pop gem.

  • Hello I am of Chile, wanted to know if this it is he himself group that sings the song "Alone" and if you know where this that video. Thanks.

  • la cancion tambien la canta cause and effect y viene en el disco trip es una rola tranquila muy buena

  • Awsome my favorite Group of my life time! Wish I knew what they are up to latetly..

  • This guys sound like Depeche Mode. Rob Rowe has the voice like Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode. Great song.

  • If I'm not mistaken..they are a Sacramento, CA based group...loved it then..love it still...

  • Great song..good post

  • They had a very good, pure synth pop sound, songs like Another Minute, Nothing Comes To Mind, You Think You Know Her are perfect. I heard that after the release of their first album their programmer Rowley was dead. It's really so sad because after you listen to their songs you understand that they had the potential of becoming a new depeche mode. i was surprised after learning they were americans :)

  • I still love this band

  • That second version is the "Deep-sex mix" it 5:16.I have ton of there music you name i have anyone need some of there tunes?

  • The second version rocks!!!

  • these guys' rock!!!

  • R.I.P. -Sean Rowley. Still a great song!

  • Wow....Thanks for posting this! I've been waiting for the video! This looks current? They obviously did a "re-make" of the song? They had a few good songs in the 90s, then disappeared? Good voice!

  • The keyboardist died of an asthma induced heart attack in the 90s.
