The best way you can promote energy development is to place all the String theorist in the unemployment line and replace them with real physicist to get back to real physics. You can also stop promoting Relativity and Quantum physics as anything other than math methodologies for performing measurements.

They're where they've always been; we're in the industrial jobs that pay better. My concern is with those left to teach the next generation. I don't think a string is going to fuel our cars or heat our homes.

I like SciFi; just not in our academic institutions unless it's in film making.
