I live a bit out in the sticks, in Cheshire and was jolted awake last night by the resident foxes in our garden doing this.
Scary as hell when everything else is so dark and silent in the village.
Went on for ages, and drove my Huskies loopy!
Sounded just like something being butchered and in agony!
