@BonIverSUCKS gee dude, i would really hate to be living your life.. truly. thanks for being one of life's randomly occuring reminders to enjoy my lovely crapfest of a life, with bon iver as the soundtrack for the moment ;)
You guys might want to know why there is no video in the beginning. The real story is that the videographer was so moved by the song that he just stopped filming until the middle. I was there that night and the videographer is one of my close friends and old roommates.
Check out a cover of Flume by searching Ramble and Wake. Check out the originals titled Pills and Coulda been bad as well. Pease comment and let us know what you think. Any feedback is good feedback. Thanks.
Just food for thought how bout Marvin Gaye and then take it a little further and how bout Mr. Mark Eitzel (listen to Apology for an Accident on utube...the man) this guy has a history
this album is the best album i have heard since damien rice released O. Before it went mainstream it had the same kind of resonance. Amazing talent, beautiful lyrics and voice. This song is just awesome!!!!!!!!!
hey there !! im joining your Damien Rice and Bon Iver appreciation group !! Saw Damien last year, I remeber live, was possibly the most amazing thing iv heard :D really hope i get a chance to see Bon Iver ! you should check out Iron and Wine/Sam Beam i just discovered this guy n hes amazing as well iv fell in love with the track "lions mane" :)
Bon Iver and Damien Rice are great. I also want to mention Tom McRae, he`s so underrated, it hurts. Check out his song "Ghost of a shark" here on youtube. :)
yeah if u read the background of this video, the filmer turned off the camera to fully enjoy the moment, and turned it on for a bit. But Nate filmed all of the other songs, check it out, its worth you're time! love bon iver, listen to this music, its something that you experience.
Yeah, this is the way to do this song live. I like the electric arrangements of some of his songs that he does live, but this one wouldn't sound right done that way.
My future children will grow up listening to Bon Iver
