Disasters and natural calamities are always disheartening. But let us be reminded that God has to shake the earth once in a while, send in strong winds, and water so high, to remind us that He is the most powerful of all. If we know of this, we know how to cope up when disaster strike. In Romans 8:28 - "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose". Let us put all our worries to the Lord. And this IS FAITH.
