@musicResistances Yeah you've got to plug it into an amp or run it through some speakers through your computer if you are using it as a midi controller.

@LettersToJersey It could probably work for that sort of thing. It certainly isn't the most powerful synthesizer, but you can edit and make your own sounds using your computer, so you might be able to get a close enough sound. I think its biggest advantages are its mod bar and pitch bend always at your fingertips so you can be really expressive if you use it well and I'd say its the best synthesizer for live shows because its so visual. Good luck with your decision!

@FSXsimulatormaster Thanks! Unless the copy of the song I have is slower (it's off the CD, so shouldn't be) then I played it at the original speed. The pitch has been lowered to get around youtube copyright restrictions. You should be able to play it synchronized with the original if you'd like and they will match fine and take the same amount of time to get through.
