You can't flip them over so you eventually end up with a sagging bed. Stay away from these mattresses, they are comfortable at first but breakdown soon after.

@machete600 Turns out when I moved I brought the wrong bed frame with me, I noticed the difference after having to put my bed on the floor because my cat was messing with the box spring. Anyways, comfy again.

Regular mattresses have a planned obsolence of 5 - 7 years. $1,000 every 5 yrs is $5,000 over 30 yrs. Savvy Rest organic latex mattresses won't even take a body impression and is made without the use of toxic chemicals.

Ours started sagging 2 months in..........now 4 years in and it is getting very uncomfortable. Going to try to exchange it under warranty at Sears.

I will never buy a Sealy mattress again. I spent $2,000 for one of their mattresses, which developed a deep and uncomfortable crater in it. The store where I bought it has gone out of business, so no help there. The Sealy people have basically blown me off. I always thought Sealy was a top tier brand, but no more.

ok. when buying a sealy, if you purchase a mattress only, IT"S NOT POSTUREPEDIC!! posturepedic is just a made up word that refers to sealy's design criteria. to qualify as posturepedic the bed must be sold/used as an ensemble set. the matching torsion bar base works in conjunction with the mattress to provide comfort, support and to help the sleep set last. ignore my advice and sealy might not honour your warranty. why should they? buy the whole bed, not just the top half.

@muthakg My simmons sagged after 9 mos, bought at sleepy's. Sleepy's took no responsibility, said to call simmons... in GA. Simmons sent  "independent" contractor from Mattress Marshalls. They said the mattress wasn't sagging enough...only 1/2 inch. Also, saying there was a stain, which there isn't. The report they finally sent after 3 weeks of me complaining, showed no stains, BUT...in one pic. the photo was red...somehow from the camera flash, that's the "stain" they're talking about!

TERRIBLE....You should really start discussing the manufacturers return policies which are HORRID......i've found tons of customer feedback on Sealy's customer service and their terribly sagging beds. The problem here is that there are countless amount of customers who complain about getting a bed with a 10 year warrenty and Sealy not coming through, making up some excuse and not following up on the warranty. I myself am one of these customers though have not yet had inspectors come. M

dont buy a simmons i just got one $1,800 and the first two weeks ive went thru more back pain then ever. as far as sealy i slept on a sealy at a resort in Florida the Posturepedic 720 plus pillow top i slept so good i couldnt believe it. so im taking my siimons back for a seally simply because i have slept on it and had no pain. plus u prob find more comfortble matress at a 5 star resort then u can make ur choice

Many 5 stars have pillow tops.........I've discovered from sleeping them over the course of one weekend that I don't like them. My husband works for a 4-5 star hotel and so we've had our share of trying out beds from all over the country. The issue here is the Sealy return policy. Whether you end up loving it or not, a manufacturer should ...try their best to please their customers, rather than taking their money and saying "adios, i can't help you".........
