The challenge will be allowing everyone freedom to promote their expertise without, as you so delicately put it :-), turning it into a pitching platform. Three ways I'll be doing this: 1) The number of members and speed of growth will be kept relatively small and slow 2) Incentives will be offered to members in exchange for maintaining quality 3) Members who abuse the system will be unceremoniously deleted and blocked.
Looks like a good idea. I get so many emails nowadays I can't read them all and most just get deleted. Whilst wanting to keep up to date with important developments I hope it doesn't turn into an incestuous pitching platform between IMers.
