Music is childish/happy/christmassish, beats are rock-like, simple, borring and with generic samples, lyrics are niether simple and catchy niether deep, motivating, personal and revolutionary as on Empires,

@Coopersville Ronan's voice is actually sounding funny in his attempts to live the lyrics he can't personalize with, synths are generic too, no trademark vnv access virus distorsions and oscilations, nothing new, no experimentation (remember Carbon, Electronaut, DarkAngel for their synths?)...

@nikoliciv i completely agree, have you ever heard burning empires? that was an amazing album. the songs just felt complete and full. this album feels quite empty and basic. not saying i dont enjoy it, but their old albums had so much more creativity and things you could just dance crazy to. this stuff just feels like i would just move from side to side, hardly appreciating it ya know?

@worriedbanana Of course, great remix album of Empires which injected a new life and angle to the original, i was so happy that the fantastic Saviour got vocals :) If you liked it you should check Blame - Water (album) and the lates one, it so reminds me of Empires and other good old Vnv with it's atmosphere. As for me, no need for Vnv since there are Mind in a Box, Blame, Acretongue, Seabound, Dead when i found Her, Edge of Dawn....and Thyx album coming out soon...and even the Unitary...
