What he does not show you is that you have to cut the end away from the stem. The bottom end which hangs down is the end you cut. Otherwise you will have a fight on your hand like the average westerner.

If you imagine the ends that you cut and which hang from the tree as the north and south pole. Just taping around the tropics give you two lovely halves for all sorts of uses.

The buko, or coconut, juice from inside is really a good source of life and very very healthy. Some people say that it consuming it can prevent cancers from growing etc. The tree itself can be used for a million things including water filtration.
