I's like to ask you liberals a question; What burns your asses the most about Nixon? That he achieved full diplomatic relations with China? A S.A.L.T treaty with the Russians? He ended a war that he didn't start , the democrats so happily used to benefit from? Or worst of all; He started the process that would see us change from an Army of conscription to a volunteer army? In the 60s I lived in KY when Kennedy was running for president; an area where most of the Hillbillies focused on Kennedy being Catholic. Last years studies showed the states having the most discrimination against wanting a black president were in what is called the Ohio Valley Tri-State area. This is a triangle area envelopes KY, West VA and Ohio; filled with Evangelicals, welfare, poor school systems, no or low paying jobs. These people are about 85% Republican, get the picture, enough said!
