I love VQ...and I agree with you. NSX-R from 1998 coast 40000€...from 2004 coast...near 70000€. New will be coast over 100k €.BMW135i is turbocharged..Honda was never used the turbo.

Yeah. I guess it's not quite a fair comparison when you sit down and think about it. BMW does it's thing well with turbos and rear drive, and Honda excels just as much with vtec and some of the most balanced front wheel drive cars around. It's a matter of preference really. I'd drive an NSX for a sports car and an M5 to haul the family around. That would be sheer heaven!

M5 doesnt have a turbo, but the new ones will come with a 4.4 liter twin turbo v8 that produces 550+ hp

If you think on Alpina you don't anything...long long time ago when you was in plan of your parents, in B group was BMW with 1.5L engine with near 1500hp exactlly 1470hp....moron.

A lot of you are morons. The 540i has a 4.4L V8 first of all. Secondly, with rear wheel drive and the sport tuned suspension, I'd love to see the Honda catch it after the first turn. And third, unlike the Honda,this car has got enough low-end grunt to get off the line. You don't have to run the tach through the stratosphere to go places. In a league of its own compared to those little ricer tin cans. By the way, factory BMW times are listed very conservatively.

Agree. This engine is tested before 3-4years at Bonneville flats and it goes stock 275km/h in 6th gear at 6,050rpm. But I wanna say that you can do it with much smaller engine,but much greater rpm.
