"Indecent exposure?" If you don't think you should be seeing it, then don't look at it. If you don't think you should be seeing it but you look at it anyway, then you're breaking your own moral code. It's easy enough to train your eyes to just look at the person. This means you value that person in an I/Thou manner. I can only think that those who are squawking about it are so obsessed by genitalia that they can't help but to look are the ones with the real problem.

@deshaebeasley: I'm pretty turned off by men's dangly bits in public. It's not the member that bothers me. It's the ridiculous egotism of displaying it publicly. Don't like it when women do it either. Color me conditioned. I wonder how I would feel if I was brought up in Europe where public nudity of both men and women --- on beaches in particular --- is accepted by everyone. I'll never know because I was brought up in this country. I'm turned off, not grossed out. No cat and mouse here.

So what's wrong with kids seeing a naked body? Nudity is natural. Teaching kids that there's something wrong with nudity is sick. I was brought up with all that body-negative stuff and it's psychologically destructive. Would you stop kids from going to a museum, maybe break off the dicks of the statues like the monks did in the Middle Ages? What's indecent is teaching kids to consider the human body dirty or something to be ashamed of or hide.

@avimecca Defecating and sex are also natural and definitely not sick, yet I'm sure we all agree that shouldn't be done in clear public view. Therefore saying something is "natural" is not an adequate argument.

New twist on San Francisco's proposed sit/lie law. In San Francisco and California,if you aren't being lewd or blocking sidewalk traffic, walking the streets nude is legal. If San Francisco passes the new sit/lie ordinance, any San Franciscan sitting or lying on the sidewalk will be arrested. But you can walk this City streets endlessly without a stitch on. Mick explained, however, that there are so many citizen complaints, they wear the figleaf so the cops won't be constantly bothered.
