There have been referendums asking the local population what they want. You can hardly say that somewhere is illigaly occupied, when it's future is decided by its people.

If the locals were against the current set-up then I would understand your view, but the UK isnt forcing itself on Gibraltar... it's entierly up to the local people.

Spain stole Ceuta in around 1668 and Britain took control of Gib in 1713.
