Awesome movie. Just saw it. I thought it was going to be an X Men knockoff, but I was pleasantly surprised- it actually has a backstory as to how these people got their gifts, and instead of just a bunch of random showy superpowers, there's specific catagories and only a small variety of them. It just has a really cool energy to it and I think it's smarter and more realistic than your average scifi "superpowers" film of today. All the main actors were good- especially Dakota Fanning.

This movie was great; it was not at all what I expected because, unlike most of the "comic book" movies, this one had a half-decent plot and GREAT acting. That little Dakota Fanning stole every scene she was in. The musical score was imaginative and the Hong Kong scenery was perfect for the story. I saw that X-men flick and HATED it, but I really liked this one.

the soy sauce injection toward the end. on the building..why wasn't nick pushed by carver? he looked right at him and pretended he was gonna jump. then punched him and put the needle in his arm...was he resistant to being pushed?
