  • what i would give u stick my penis in baraks ear would make twelve Alaskan children commit suiside under the sun naked with their penises tucked between there legs almost tickling there butthole like a fresh carrot growing from grandmas backyard

  • Hey BO-How about let's see some statistics from the medical professions and the insurance companies on the cost of healthcare per age group per decade? How many times did I hear you say "older people"? You have a problem with older people? Why not get some statistics on the cost of lap-band and gastric bypass procedures in the US - how about get the total cost to the healthcare system for sports-related injuries - how about get the total cost of failed abortions and breast implants gone wrong?

  • what a totally stupid retarded thing he says, he should know who is going to get healthy and who isnt. Hip replacements> hahah

  • Obama the Socialist--holding black folks down with a culture of dependence & entitlement on the government est 2008. The only party that truly speaks to real values of the black folks in America is the Republican Party. Obama shows the black community how truly out of touch democrats are with their values.

  • Micheal Steele says otherwise.

  • unless you can legislate DNA, white people will always thrive

  • @PersonalFoul43 I don't get it, would you care to explain?

  • Dinah Washington_ @_"This Bitter Earth"

  • dear barack obama,

please stop flashing your logo around

  • Immoral to set up any restrictions!

U won't go to heave...all are equal in God's eyes!

  • Obama's "fresh" 11-page health care proposal is no different from the Senate bill. Obama pwrpoint draft includes the same bad proposals that the Senate bill does. But there is one key difference between the two: The Senate bill actually exists.

Until Obama's proposal is drafted as official legislation, the only proposal the House can and will consider is the bill the Senate passed. Lawmakers should focus on starting over. The American people support health care reform, just not this one.

  • Democrat Congressman Massa will be on Glenn Beck 3-09-10 to expose the administration and Obamacare. Dem's are turning on the extreme leftist democrats. The War is on. They are done and out in Nov 2010.

Type this in watch?v=RKwNDYDnu2w and also watch the NEWS. Obama and friends are history! Sat Cong!

  • The International Olympic Committee stunned the world this morning when they awarded U.S. President Barack Obama a gold medal for Mens Skiing.

When asked how this could be, considering that President Obama has never skied nor competed in the Olympic games, an IOC spokesman justified the decision by stating Barack Obama is going downhill faster than anyone this year.

  • Obama, go away, you loser!!%

  • Because its not about healthcare its all about power and control. Vladimir Lenin said, "Medicine is the keystone of the arch of Socialism." It's clear that Obama and Lenin share a philosophy.

The Democratic founding of socialized America will be the quote:"Take my Liberty, give me free health care.'

Worst of all is it will will be far from free!

  • Here here

  • thats exactly why we're in this fuckin mess, because of people like you, not caring and taking risks. i bet you don't even know what "risky" people are!

you're talking about "high risk pools"!

you have two kind of people in there: ( both are considered people with pre-existing conditions)

    1. pre-existing conditions; before/at birth (mental/physical disabilitys, ect.)

    2. pre-existing conditions; after birth (there's a long list of things and you could have one of these)

  • niggers stink

  • Has anyone seen SAW VI guess who is getting punished for there greedy ways i think we should take this one from the movies what do you think:)

  • healthcare is a right that every american citizen should have

  • What about prosperity? Isn't that actually stated in the constitution as a unalienable right? I don't recall healthcare being mentioned, but if all my money goes to paying for other peoples healthcare, then doesn't it conflict with my prosperity?

  • So, what about normal taxes? Some of those might go to repairing roads or creating faculties you never use.

It's amazing how Americans can be so patriotic, yet self-centered at the same time.

You probably wouldn't be so against the health-care plan if you had a debilitating disease; what are a few extra dollars a month if you ease people's suffering, and protect yourself from being abandoned by your health-care if you develop diabetes?

  • Yes. Taxes in general take from our prosperity. I also don't like the earmarks such that my local taxes pay for a facility all the way across the country. That should be paid for with local funds. Thank you for bringing that up. Earmarks and socialized healthcare. Both suck the money right out of our wallets and are generally wasted on beaurocracy.

As for my health, I have always been and will always be responsible, but I carry insurance just in case.

  • Unfortunately for you, there is no unclaimed, government-free land in which people live in a state of anarchy, selfishness and disarray.

Think of it this way, if donating $100 dollars a year could save lives and ease the suffering of thousands, would you do it?

  • Yes, of course. If all it took was $100, then I would pay it right now. But back here in reality, it costs far far more.

Are you currently paying for your insurance? Where do the costs for medication, doctors and medical supplies and facilities go when someone else is running the show? Do they magically disappear? Can we lower them without dropping the value of healthcare?

Answer: They stay, No and No.

I only wish your fantasy world existed. $100 is so much cheaper than 5k a year.

  • $5000 dollars a year! Are you insane man? Here in the frozen north, it's maybe half that for all our taxes, per year. Even half of that is still an exaggeration.

And yes, we have "commie" health-care.

Everything can be refined and worked on until it becomes more efficient, its a question of how much willpower people have to carry out such a change.

  • Pardon, got sidetracked. Where were we.

Ah yes. 5k is more than 1/2 what you pay in Canada. Great! But then the gov pays the rest. Where do THEY get the money? From you, of course. You pay one way or the other. I would rather pay directly. That way I can control my money and how it gets used. Your system won't allow that. They TAKE your money and tell you your getting great healthcare. They don't tell you how much its putting your country in dept or what else is failing to pay for it.

  • @whykill23 wait till the illegals find out about this.ohhhh just you wait.

  • Slapstick Government

"Obama scolds Rep. Cantor at summit for paper prop". His infraction? Brought a copy of the 2,400 pages of healthscare reform...and that's called a stunt? We are soooo screwed....

  • The only way this works is the House to pass the Senate bill and then, depending on what the package is, the reconciliation provision that moves first through the House and then comes to the Senate. Pelosi insisted that the House will not pass the Senate bill until the Senate passes a second bill that fixes the first -its dead meaning it is not going to happen and you can all praise Nobama, Pelosi & Reid for this SNAFU. The Pubs did not have to do anything but watch them screw it up.

  • thats exactly why we're in this fuckin mess, because of people like you, not caring and taking risks. i bet you don't even know what "risky" people are!

you're talking about "high risk pools"!

you have two kind of people in there: ( both are considered people with pre-existing conditions)

    2. pre-existing conditions; after birth (there's a long list of things and you could have one of these)

  • you think you're all set! you're coverd and you don't need to worry about any thing!!!!

but you forgett, that the ins. companys don't give a fuck about you! they will find a way to drop your coverage and then you're one of the people you were bitching about!!! most of these people you're talking about are hard working americans that HAD insurance and though like you, that the were covered!

  • So the gov has the ability to print trillions of dollars out of thin-air to fund two wars and bailout the bankers, but when it comes to health care reforms they make comedy shows. What an Oxymoron!

    wake up people!

  • If you don't give care according to an individual's need, then you, by definition, must create an "UNFAIR" taxation of less risky people to pay for the more risky people.

Mr President, do you honestly think we will willingly increase our personal costs to pay for people who have lived hard, long lives and will no longer be paying into the system themselves?

I will take my own risks. I don't want you taking them for me.

  • The point is that if you suddenly become less healthy, you wont have to worry about being dropped, and having to pay higher premiums for higher risk pools. What i would suggest, is to have the universal coverages, but give tax breaks to people who are healthy such as excersizing regularily, dont smoke, healthy alchohol consumption, is at a healthy weight, etc. I always believe we should motivate people to be more healthy rather than punising those who arent. That type of police will give result

  • I'm not sure what you are proposing is any different from common insurance. They charge a base rate, but give you discounts for being less risky. If you call it a tax break, then the only thing that has changed is who we pay for the service. Where is the improvement?

  • the difference is that mine is a government controlled system, wheras what you think is a great system is a corporate controlled one. A government system will think about how the country will save money as a whole, whereas a corporate would look at how they themselves can make more money, which i think is flawed. a good parallell is car insurance. you get into an accident and your insurance price goes up.

plus: its a lot more efficient when you eliminate marketing costs, transaction costs. etc.

  • @SawViking Please take a brief look at Medicare among other massive failures before espousing the thriftiness of government. The irony of what you say is that government can afford to be as wasteful as they want because they have the power to take or print your money. Businesses can't print money and fail when they are unable to be thrifty. So it is just the opposite from what Obama is trying to tell you.

At least you are listening. That's good.

  • that´s not entirely true. medicare has lower administration costs than most, if not all, insurance companies.

the problem with medicare is that only a few people are entitled to it. So it means that your taxes goes to someones health billls, but you also have to pay for your own. People then start becoming sceptical, but if everyone had it, everyone would be, in theory, happy.

  • I am not suggesting that medicare's admin costs have anything to do with the 10s of trillions of dept that medicare has accrued in dept over the decades. Medicare is simply paying for very costly services with dept rather than taxes.

I agree. Who wouldn't be happy if we paid far less for a service than it was worth.

Of course, the whole country pays through inflation. Eventually we will be crushed by the accumulated dept. Until then smile on the road to hell.;-)

  • but i mean, these expenses would have to be covered by someone eventually, right? and they might not have to be that expensive.

but here is the main reason why id be for a universal healthcare. today, an average of 6000 dollars per person is used on healthcare or related issues. most universal healthcare countries average between 3000-3500 $. the defecit of US would be gone in 10 years, if these numbers were realized. of course not all money is spent within budsjet, but some is at least.

  • Okay. I'm trying to make sense of where you are going with this. You say, "these expenses would have to be covered by someone eventually, right?" Then you say that in countries like Canada and France, the citizens are paying 3000-3500 USD. How does that help pay the deficit? Sounds like MORE deficit to me, but you explain.

  • what i am saying is that in a country where there is universal healthcare, the average cost per person in health related issues is half of what it is in the united states. So that means if you save $3000 per person for over 300 mill people, you wind up saving a lot. I mentioned that you wont save $3K per person, directly, because some is payed from hospitals, individuals themselves, insurance companies, or the government themselves. These expenses is meant by being covered by someone eventually.

  • Okay. You save 3k, but you don't save 3k. The insurance, providers, beneficiaries, and government all save some part of 3k. Great!

I tell you what. You either get half as good healthcare, or the government pays the difference with dept.

You just can't tell a nurse that we are cutting their salary and not have some backlash. The best ones move on, the bad ones are content with less money. And this doesn't even get into the dept, which is the MAIN problem.

  • but i think thats where you and i disagree. I dont think US has better healthcare quality than any other country; actually, they arent ranked even top30. Most of the $ you pay doesnt even go to health. some goes to surplus demands from insurance companies, administrative costs, late attented patients, etc. What I am trying to state is that the reform i would want would make things more efficient, people are treated quicker and earlier, and the middle-menn dont drain as much $ from transactions

  • btw. the way the american printing system works, is that the money you print, is connected to debt, so no: you cannot afford to be wasteful, because the government would go bankrupt. There is a reason for the inflation of $, at the same time debt went up under the bush administration.

  • While disagreements remain, the meeting uncovered considerable areas of overlap, including many Republican ideas that were already in the President's proposal. And with all the best ideas now on the table, the President made it clear that no excuses remain: Congress must put aside partisan divides and swiftly complete a final bill.

To find out how you can help, go to barackobama(dot)com.

  • Correct me if I am wrong but isn't a "High risk pool", where all the sickier and elderly of our society are covered the same as Medicare ? Then if we open up this "pool" to younger, healthier people, in order to reduce the cost, isn't that single payer ? It seems that if one listens this is what both the Democrats and Republican's are advocating. Strange how they are not listening toi their own "talking points".

  • @MyEamonn you're exactly right. Slowly over a period of time people will understand that single payor is the most efficient way to go. Simply because, as you have mentioned, the risk is spread over a much larger group of people. No magic to it, it's very simple.

  • Interesting.

  • I agree with Tellitlikeitis. And better yet President Obama must be sick of these idiot ghosts who are jealous of his education, BLACK FAMILY ( which is better then theirs), Intelligence and Job Title. Poor Ghost monkeys.

  • HEALTH CARE REFORM FOR THE WIN!

  • Paul Engemann says: HEALTH CARE REFORM, PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT!!!

  • @dkkght46

I have no time to go back and forth with the kiddies who live by the Faux I mean Fox News bible. Unwise and makes bad decisions are the same words I would use to describe Bush. But I think a unintelligent, ignorant, stuttering, lying neaderthal would be more sufficient. On that note I have to prepare for an exam. Studying for your masters degree can be stressful and tireseome at times but we ''dems" are used to working and SUCCEEDING under pressure.

  • @SuperTellitlikeitis Yea, black studies is a difficult exam. Dems nae call and get mad more than US good people.

  • A masters degree is something you poor white trash high school dropout mutan cave beast know nothing about. Shouldn't you be cleaning your trailer or having sex with your sister....albino monkey? Perhaps all that walmart shopping, canine mating and incest you white trash have will never get boring...but you know what they say, poor white trash will always be poor white trash...hope your trailer stays warm honkey.

  • @bnjones28

Such rage, jealousy and bitterness from someone so young. But I understand poor white trash boy. I would be angry too if I live in trailer6 lot 13.

  • The collective brainpower on the dem side probably wouldn't have light up one of the new energy saver LED light bulb.

  • @dkkght46

Blah, blah, blah...and you have all the free time in the world to be on youtube all day airing your greviences......lol. Proves my exactly. GO OBAMA!!!!

  • Ditto

  • Great Icons of U.S. Government In-Efficiency

    The United States Post Office

    Social Security

    Bureau of Indian Affairs

    Immigration and Customs Enforcement

    Barack Hussien Obama

  • dkkght46 = poor white trash who blames everyone else but himself for his problems. Typical loser characteristic.

    OBAMA 2012

  • Don't stop til you get enough!

  • The President seems to understand that the American people do not want bureaucrats in Washington controlling their health care decisions, but then he seems completely oblivious to the fact that increasing bureaucratic control at the expense of every American's ability to make their own choices is exactly what his plan does.

  • A Washington bureaucrat is better, as he is hired to serve the people. He is to make decisions that put people first and finances perhaps even last. If they fail at doing that, they will likely be removed by a higher official to keep public opinion up.

Whereas a corporate bureaucrat is meant to make money, and the only reason they try to care for you at all is in pursuit thereof. If they find a way to make money without having to care for you, they sure as hell will and no one will stop them.

  • So make sure that you trust the insurance companies will have your back. Get real

  • make sure a conglomorate cutthroat corporation has your back?? you get real!

  • I just said what you just said lol.

  • @SuperTellitlikeitis Sorry I would agre ith you if you were right. Negras blame every one.

  • @bnjones28

That's exactly how I feel about poor white trailer trash...and did i say "poor''.

You should be lucky you even have internet service in your trailer compounds....lol!

  • If you don't like him, why are you even on this channel? Get a JOB and A LIFE then hopefully you'll feel better about yourself. And if you want to blame anyone, blame Bush who has put this country through pure hell for the last eight years. But I'm sure someone like you would probably find away to overlook that. Ummmm, I wonder what your jealousy, hatred and envy for PRESIDENT Obama REALLY stems from??

  • Incompetancy

  • At a certain point, a president must own a presidency. For George W. Bush that point came eight months in, when 9/11 happened. From that point on, the presidency—all his decisions, all the credit and blame for them—was his. The American people didn't hold him responsible for what led up to 9/11, but they held him responsible for everything after it. Obama, in office a month longer than Bush was when 9/11 hit, now owns his presidency. It's his now the credit and the blame.

  • I do not hate him, in fact he is probably a good guy but he is unwise, makes bad decisions, and could not run a snowball stand so I hope HE fails and it will not be long.

  • @jokerbookshop look it up on fucking google or on a website ive seen his birth certificate im pretty sure he wouldent be president of the united states if he dident have one get a fucking clue you conservative stop spreading your propoganda and stop watching fox news

  • THANK GOD FOR BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmm!

He destroyed the Clinton Political Machine Drove a stake thru the heart of Hillarys Presidential aspirations something no Republican was ever able to do. Remember when a Hillary Presidency scared the daylights out of you! Killed the Kennedy Dynasty No more Kennedys trolling DC looking for booze and women wanting rides home. American women and Freedom are safer tonight! He is destroying the Democratic Party before our eyes!

  • @dkkght46

Calm down!! Such anger and rage from someone so irrevelevant. Perhaps being a bitter jealous loser can do that to you. Don't have a heart attack in the process..HA!!

  • ANOTHER DEM GONE: The House ethics panel has found that Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) broke ethics rules. Rangel knowingly accepted Caribbean trips in violation of House rules forbidding hidden financing by corporations.Rangel said he had done nothing wrong and expected the report to show he was not guilty of anything.

The democratic herd is thinning fast and if they do not hurry they will not have enough dems to cast at least one vote!

  • OBAMA 2012!

  • Very well said President Obama! Repubs want to seperate the unhealthy from the healthy. You know what that will mean. That is dangerous! Selfish bastards!

  • @jokerbookshop HE HAS!! He was born in Hawaii....Google it! If it was fake he wouldn't be President. If you want to see a certificate you should have asked for George Bush's college degree, that I have a hard time believing is real!!

  • Medicare is sure a high risk pool.

  • They are for high risk pools, making health care too expensive for the sick and the elderly, and they have the nerve to accuse of the democrats for "wanting to kill grandma".

Someone please call the reps out on all their bullsh*t!

  • @Petersunnergren Whoever thumbed you up is clincly retarded.

  • Reform healthcare? Yes we can...

  • Guys, ignore the trolls in the comments.

  • Well said Mr.Obama

  • obama give us a public option u prick

  • Shut the f*ck up jokerbookshop! He showed his birth cirtificate, and YES he is an American, so just shut up!

  • I think it'd be good to evaluate the high risk pool idea with John Rawls' Veil of Ignorance.

The question should be, "Would you favor a high risk pool if you didn't know whether or not you'd be in it?"

    I wouldn't want a high risk pool.

  • @vsmatck High risk pools are pointless. Everyone in the highrisk pool is getting screwed. If you are paying to be in it, you are paying very high premiums and if you are a company offering high risk coverage, then you have a ton of sick people. Everyone is a loser in that senario. If you figure in government subsidies, you now have 3 layers of failure.

  • @lmcdowall

what's the weather like in your world in which this drivel actually makes sense?

  • Comment removed

  • The President is right. If we start segregating the so called high risk people, that could also lead to genetic discrimination and we have ALL seen that horror movie before.

  • I think you nailed the public on Unity in healthcare means better things for all, not only in cost, but taking the greed out of our Insurance companies that make profits by limiting healthcare for their customers. All would be welcomes at We The People Pool Insurance where we all Help each other! The only thing that scares me is, people who live irresponsible could destroy the pool over time. I just hope we don't make laws limiting us to what we can only eat and how, this is what scares me.

  • And stick to Educating young people how to take care of themselves, instead of regulating humans habits and taking away our liberty for healthcare! God bless, may peace be upon you

  • stfu and do something about the schools, kids this days eat shit in school, and then everyone wonders why are they sick, no fucking shit stupid retard, all the food in american are fucking poison, thats why i eat only organic and when was the last time i got sick? cant remember.

  • The insurance actuaries know almost exactly who is going to come down with what illness.

Anything short of full socialized medicine is bunk.

Take the profit motive out of health care. Let the Ferengi go find something else less harmful to peddle

  • Yeah, Unity is the only way to solve our healthcare problems. Not by Profiting at the cost of no helping those that been paying in all their lives!

  • @jokerbookshop Please accept the fact that we have a black president...PLEASE!! My goodness!!

  • everybody under one main health care system or everybody under one body government ?

  • we want free healthcare, but we need 3 trillion dollars for it to happen. yeah id like to see that happen by the end of his term

  • It seem to be possible for lots of other countries to make free health care work, you'd think that a highly developed country as America could as well...

  • nobody is talking about free healthcare. they're talking about spending the money that we're sending to health insurance companies on actual health insurance.

  • Obama pwn3d the GOP.

  • I am impressed by Obama's politics. He's not giving up on the health care reform and he's doing his best to make both the democrats and republicans happy with this bill -- which will help the majority of Americans out. It is something that will not develop over night, it will take time, people just need to wait. Obama is the best man for this job, and potentially will be one of the most favorites of presidents next to FDR.

  • Comment removed

  • either regulate insurance companies or nationalize government is the only things that need to be done.

  • Stop trying to run away from the public option Obama you made a promise and it's not going away!

  • @badmuffy how is he trying to "run away" from the public opinion, when #1. the public thinks they know what they want, but when they are asking for One thing, and not expecting it to take away from something else, they have delusional expectations. and #2. He has BEEN trying to do the things he promised, But when you have more Republicans in congress then Democrats, its hard. They are just saying NO to everything. It takes more then just Obama to pass a bill.

  • @rachelroo88

actually the Republicans are the minority party in the House and Senate.

The House has supported his agenda and their healthcare bill has a Public Option. The Senate bill doesn't because the majority needs 60 votes to get anything done in the Senate and the Public Option doesn't have that much support among the Senates 57 Democrats.

other than that you're exactly right

  • @badmuffy

    he want it

    but he says

    not enough, votes

some democrats work for the insurance companies

  • we all love our masons ;)

  • ^---- People in insane asylums get Internet privileges I see.

  • 2 years? we just passed the first year buddy. settle down.

  • @MinnesotaKnuckles Its 2011 already? You are an idiot.

  • You are an idiot, its been one year and things happened but the stupiblicans are trying to stopd it

  • @MinnesotaKnuckles actually 1 year as said by adonis. You can not expect everything to be resolved in that amount of time. Healthcare, social security, and etc can NOT be fixed in a year. Give it time. Something will and should be done.

  • When Obama took office. He was facing an economic meltdown the likes of which hasn't been seen since OCTOBER 1929. This was brought on by 8 years of poor policy changes and even worse overall management by the ineptitude of his predecessor. He was also facing war on 2 fronts. Everything was left for him -- in his words -- "with a bow on top when I walked in the front door". How can anyone clean up in 2 years the mess that was left behind after 8 ???

  • @MinnesotaKnuckles

Do you know how much our military budget is? We use one fourth the military budget as the rest of the worlds military budget combined. I'm not saying we should under-equip our soldiers, but thinking our military budget is anything but overkill is extremely ignorant. And I love our military.

    btw...3 trillion? the hell?

  • I'm still LMAO @ Louise Slaughter's "constituent" who "had to wear her dead sister's teeth."

    JUMPED THE SHARK.
