  • My pigs name is ginger too :)

  • Why are they fighting? Mine won't stop fighting since yesterday (2 young females)

    Can I do something?

  • WHERE'S THE FIGHT!?

  • the rumblestrutting is normal its them asserting dominance as is the rising their heads above each others.the teeth chattering is a mixture of anxiety and a threat of violence.when your introducing them have a small glass of water with you.if they start rolling into a ball pour it over them to stop the fight.separate them and do not break it up with your hand during you will get a full on bite as i did.we have five guinea pigs and introducing them was traumatic.one of them has to live alone.

  • all my guinea pigs make the sound at 40 thumbs up if your guinea pigs make that sound

  • i love your guinea pigs i have 2 guinea pigs named Ham (male adult abyssinian) Cheese (female baby) shes to young to tell if shes an abyssinian!

  • i have the same exact house for my guinea pig and so dose my friend how cool

  • teeth chatter or helicopter sound is a warning sound telling you to stay away

  • i am watching with one of my pigs and he's replying to everything xD

  • if you here the two piggy chatter there teeth seperate them fast

  • Hi! I would really appreciate an answer because I am bonding a neutered male and a female right now. Obviously, the female is the dominant one, so she has done the same thing to the male. (raising hackles, nose face offs, etc.) I get really scared and seperate them in case they get in to a full- on battle. Should I let them go? Or seperate them?

    Thanking you in advance,

    ~Shealey

  • @GuineaPigHelpGuide06 Youre welcome. Well, I think you should separate them for a week or so. (Because you considered.) And then try to re-introduce them. If they argue again. repeat. :) -PiggyChannel P.S I am not answering as much because I would like you to ask em questions on my formspring account; not here.

  • @PiggyChannel Thanks! And next time I will!

  • I bought a guinea pig for PetSmart and I took to the vet the after I bought and it is perfectly fine and healthy.

  • ... CUTE... thts all i hav ta say!!!!

  • Would it be safe to use a ferret cage(not ever used by a ferret though)?

  • @GhettoBootyCass no.. get a c &c cage :)

  • @PiggyChannel Ok well we had to make due with the ferret cage, its spacious and tall, when tax time comes were gettin a actual guinea pig cage, because we cannot find the means to find where to buy supplies for a c&c Cage. or where to buy Chloroplast(sp).

  • ALmost 1000 Views :)

  • My guinea pigs do that about 4 times a week but otherwise get along great! However, they are boys and I've heard it's normal for boys to fight (for territory).

  • do you guys know if i should use a glass tank for a guinea pig because i'm planning on getting one and i have this old glass cage just asking. BTW your guinea pigs are so cute

  • @randomonster345 NEVER use a glass tank and dont buy a store-bought cage! If you cannot afford a C&C cage you would be torturing your pigs... Never buy anything smaller than a coffee table. Guinea Pigs are great animals and deserve to get what they need. Getting a pig means proper care and health. Look up C and C cage on google You will know what I mean ( OR WATCH MY VIDEOS WITH MINE :) ) Never buy any cages from a store and buy a guinea pig from a shelter. Store bought guinea pigs-r-sick

  • that was dominence (dont care how you spell it! xDD)

  • @thehamsterpeople Yes, I know :) They are fine And Panda Is a whole lot bigger. She was about 3 Months here . They Were fighting over the Baby ( I think) :)

  • @PiggyChannel the baby?

  • @thehamsterpeople Yes, Panda Black and White aka the baby :)

  • @PiggyChannel oh right xDD

  • Haha, yeah they really did cross the piggie spectrum of noises from "Yay, person who is adoring me!" to "Bugger off this is my pigloo."

  • that squeaking is normal my guinea pig does that all the time

  • those sounds are happy talkative sounds and squeaks. a guinea pig will make a deeper shudder sound when it is afraid. you may not have or may never hear it if your guinea pigs are always comfortable with you and their surroundings.
