Nowadays the band is monotonous, and the music is mainstream pop.

its such ashame. Sugababes were really, the only good girlband from England atm. They were at their best when it was Heidi, Keisha and Mutya. Theyve ruined it now. In my opinion Sugababes are over cus theres no longer any of the originals. Too bad:(

Heidi did amazing when she was with the other originals, her two sisters Keisha & Mutya.

Honestly when I saw those three at the time, they were doing so well I thought they were invincible.

Heidi says the new lineup have something to prove but I think that's ridiculous when you've lost half their fanbase over Keisha's disgusting firing. Keisha did NOT deserve that stab in the back. I thought her and Heidi were close.

i think they were close, but when amelle told heidi that she was going to quit, heidi probably thought the band couldn't work anymore with another line up change so she decided to quit with amelle and then the management said that they would continue with her and amelle and convinced her to give it a shot, and she prob thought whats there to loose?

@laydeelyrikz mmm what you write is a lil contradictory. If to you the best line-up was Keisha, Mutya & Heidi, then one of the "originals" is still in Sugababes, Heidi! She didn't found the band, ok, but she's been a Sugababe for 10 yrs now so she's more original than Siobhan. As long as she's a Sugababe I'll keep on following them, if she leaves the group then it's over for them!

Now that the Eurovision Song girl replaced Keisha, i don't think there's ever gonna be an album by them that's gonna top Three. It's sad. Mutya and Keisha basically made the band. The sugababes (i mean the recent members) have totally lost my respect.

Mutya WAS the Sugababes. They only happened because of her talent getting spotted at 11 !!! It was HER band. She wrote all the songs ! Stop dissing her. The new SB songs are bland crap because they lost Mutya's songwriting input which made the songs so good !!!!

Now look - I'm not saying Mutya's bad - I did like her and I was upset when she left but they have moved on (and so should you) I think her solo stuff was good but not my cup of tea. I don't agree that she is huge. Not in terms of solo success surely? While she was a sugababe she was slagged off and now she is not people are saing 'oh, not the same without her' ect. I wish people would make their minds up.

Surely she wasn't acting so, while she was planning her solo career.

She went solo because she is a huge artist and why would she bother.

Radiohead album launched in internet was also a "flop" in comercial terms and I believe no one thinks it's a terrible band because of that.

Many artists nowadays take more time than a year between one album and the following. And she did a heck of a job with her first album as a solist. It is true she was dropped due to the low sells, but Sugababes were also dropped after their first album, which, in my opinion, is superb. Sometimes quality doesn't mean success authomatically.....unfortunate­ly.
