Okay i dont get why i have the exact same bag, but mine was almost $1,800 and yours was only $1,300?

Louis V had a price increase on all of there bags excluding the Speedy handbag LV is in competition to stay "high end". Since Hermes & Chanel run that market. Chanel had 2 price in creases in one year taking bags from 2k to 5k. It it s a sign of things to come and i would suggest keeping your Louis in great condition b/c it will soon be worth even more and you can sell it for a profit if you like :-) Congrats on your purchase and i hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoy mine!

Thank You....All debit cards are back by credit cards for at least the last 8 years. I do not use the one VISA credit card i have so interest isnt an issue, but thanks for the advise...In todays economy no one should be using credit cards if you dont have it to spend don't buy it.

I'm about to order a LV Keepall 55, but I'm really concerned about taking it with me to the airport. Are 55's allowed as a carryon? If so how much is the max it can weigh? I would hate to buy it and have to let it leave my sights to a man who will probably throw my bag 50 ft in the air and possibly get it damaged.

lol 50 ft in the air!.I dont know the weight limit & i have carried mine on AA w/o issue. On the website the bag is considered to big but i just put the strap on and act as if i do it all the time,they didnt even ask to see it. With that said if u stuff ur bag it will be hard to get it into the overheard but if its stil smushable to the touch then it will have room to fit.

.Worst case is that u get on the plane and it doesnt fit then they'll Valet or u can request the pilot closet..Valet bags wait for u at the plan door when u land and going onto the ramp to enter the airport. Hope this helps!

Congrads honey!! im soo happy for you!!! Its worth the money and you will love it...Yes the 55 can be a carry on i used it on American Airlines and it fit in the overhead compartment very well. i didnt try under the seat for obvious the reasons.lol. I didnt have mine stuffed so the bag was still soft enough to squish a little if needed. Dont ask them if they will let you carry it on b/c by the rules i think its over the limit by jus a little, but it will be fine :) im sooo happy for you!!

is the macassar a little different than the regular canvas? i mean i see that the handles are black. but any other diffrences? is the entire bag darker?

To me its the same as the original Monogram...it may seem darker in general b/c of the black leather trim..It also has the silver plated zipper, lock ect instead of the gold.

BTW, you can have your luggage tag personalized with your name at the LV branch for free. Just go there and pick the colors and theyll do it in 30 minutes... I think silver or gold will look stunningly contrast on the dark shade of that bag.
