You went from 4-12 to 9-7. Brett Favre helped your team tremendously, most notable in giving it a decent running game, with the defenses now having to play against BOTH the run and the pass.
He made some poor throws late in the year but there were so many missed catches, dropped balls by LC and J-Co, who are a step down in talent from Driver and Jennings.

How is it Aaron Rodgers fault for not making the playoffs? Yes he has thrown a few costly interceptions but it isn't like Favre didn't either. Stat wise, Rodgers is having a by far better year then Favre who choked the Jets right out of the playoffs.
So instead of going straight to Rodgers for not getting the Pack into the playoffs, look at the real perspective which was the Packers defensive struggles.

The Packers may be 4-5 but our QB is not the reason why we are. Rodgers is happening to have a very good season as is Brett. It's the defense that has caused us to get to 4-5. There is plenty of season left so there really is no reason to elimate the Packers from playoff contention even if Brett isn't there.
