  • @plumberx plumberx, so good to hear from you! thanks for the visit.

  • that was great

  • @ironhead41 :) Good little unit.

  • I spelled rewatch and this phone thinks it knows best and respelled rematch.

  • Cool way to save big bucks and consume fewer resources. I'll have to go back and rematch the making of this water heater. I'm gonna keep my eyes open for a broken water heater. I've been seeing people on craigs list asking for broken water heaters. I'll bet this is why. Finally had a frost here in Louisiana. Time to start on projects I can do in my shop.

  • @bctruck Keep in touch, if you would. I would enjoy watching the assembly, and how you decide to build it. Frost? burrr . . .

  • Kasin doesnt feel like a year ago heck time flies.

  • @stormwalkernz Wow, yeah, now that you mention it. It has gone fast.

  • Cool...... But I know its not in AZ

  • @Sasquatch7foot Yes, I am in Arizona and so is my Solar Water Heater.

  • I'm glad the solar water heater is working out so well. I hope it gives you many years of trouble free service.

  • @FriarTuck1961 Thank you. :) Much appreciate the kind thoughts.

  • Have you ever put together your own solar panels? I've watched alot of your DIY videos, including the entire bread box water heater series, but don't remember seeing any solar panel vids.

  • @1984IcameandIstayed I have a Harbor Freight solar panel kit, but never put it together. I've been pricing batteries at Sam's. And I have to buy an invertor. One thing at a time. :) Glad you're watching. Wow! All the Solar Water Heater Vids. That's beastly. Good for you!

  • @KasinH We're collecting non-working UPSs (Uninterrupted Power Supplies) and BBSs (Battery Backup Systems). These have built-in inverters to convert the battery (DC) to usable household current (AC). Usually it's the batteries that are messed up when they quit working and not the inverters. Just another idea. I would love to see you make vids on solar power. :)

  • @VivianRinSC Wow, you are so far ahead of me. How about you making a vid. on that? :)
