@panthersruby29a I can imagine as a parent. I started doing it at age 14 and have loved it since. It's a risky yet rewarding job. It's only as dangerous as you make it.. We go to schooling and tend trainings to make sure we stay safe. There's also a few rules of firefighting.
Rule 1) 2 in, 2 out. Meaning that you never go in alone, and never come out alone. You're always with your partner.
Rule 2) Everyone goes home. The meaning to this is how it sounds. Everyone goes home.
@christlem101 every time i run a call we dont go anywhere without every fire fighter on board your dad is a hero and he is one of the toughest men out there
My dad is taking me to the fire department tomorrow to show the new be were every thing is on the rig aka the fire truck. Dad tough me where everything is
my sister is a firefighter now i am so concerned for her now its not funny. ummm nice video good work to you and all the firefighters around the world. i found a new apperception for these men and women.
@chrislem101. ik wat u mean my dad has been a ff for 15 plus years. i find firefighting instressting. soon im im joining the same deperment as a cadet/jr and ride the engine with him
@Chrislem101, You just brought a tear to my eye little brother. I can't tell you 100% that you're dad won't ever get hurt or anything, just because it's a tough job. But I can tell you 150% that all of his fellow firefighters are gonna do their best to look after him and keep him safe. It's why we do the 2 in-2 out rule. Everyone goes home.
Sir, please keep carrying on. You do not know how you help ease the pain. Had to leave on a medical., Miss the job and all my brothers every bloody day. Remember always, pass it on. " No greater love have a man, that he lay it down for another." We don't fall into this, we are called.

I get scared every time the sirens go off and my dad is out of the door.. I know he is doing to his job but it still scares me because i love him and he is my everything

@panthersruby29a I'm hoping that can help comfort you. I know it's hard but if we don't do it, than who will? It's a job that needs to be done.
If you need anything at all, feel free to message me. I'm not on this account much anymore, but you can reach me at my new channel in the video.
Take care,
-Andy
