This philosophy didn't work so well the other day when I projected myself flying through the intersection in plenty of time before the light turned really red (it was just yellow). I guess the other fella's projection of reality and observational creation was stronger than mine or I guess neither of us projected strongly enough, maybe because we weren't yet aware of this profound insight that things "out there" are mere projections of our minds. Basically, when you "assume" that what you can "see" and "prove" through scientific methods is the only "real reality," that "assumption" is just that and nothing more, you are "assuming that." You can't "prove" that it is the only "real reality" so it is a belief in and of itself. In reality, what you can see, feel, hear, and touch, what you percieve with your senses is what "reality" ultimately is. And even that isn't reality, there is something "observing" the senses. An Awareness.

It's easy to over think this concept but it's pretty fundamental and common sense because it's something we experience every time we observe something and link it with another idea and at the same time you're observing yourself because your idea is linked to this object or person. So apparently, you always come back to what your purpose is in that situation which is your idea.

Science based on the idea that everything you see, smell, touch, hear, feel, and observe are illusions of the mind (Consciousness). It implies that we are all ONE and CONNECTED. The best way to start learning about Qauntum Physics is to look up David Bohm's Holographic Universe, Bell's Theorem, The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, Wave-Particle Duality. You can start with those. It isn't difficult to understand once you get into it. The equations can be somewhat complicated though.

Yet in doing this we fall prey to the same problem reflected in your slip. In this slip you want to observe the observer and fall prey to the observation problem when wanting to discuss the observer.
