  • hi & salut mio vecchio amico FAKEOX

  • Good job guys

That's right you do look like Pete

Hey hope to meet up one day

I'm the new lead vocalist of Bargain - the who tribute

  • I remember seeing you guys in Toronto many moons ago...probably 1986 or 87. You guys rocked, no two ways about it. Seeing this brings back memories, hazy ones, but good ones.

  • You guys must listen to their version of Young Man Blues from 1989...the singer sounds and looks JUST like Roger Daltrey

  • Ok i admit I like this. But The Who is better, With out the who, there will be no Wholigans, their name will be probably the -oligans!

  • Excellent job, and I hate the who. Except for this song of course.

  • The Who ARE The Who, we are merely a shadow .

Our job is to entertain.....that's it.

If people like it...great , then we've done our "job"

There's only 1 Who however, and they are one of .....if not -THE- greatest bands out there.

  • 8 months or more? Continue to listen enjoy.Every day.

  • this song belongs to the bass

  • This why Townshend is such a badass at writing. He and Taupin would be good. John and Daultry....oh shit.

  • Yeah, those would be pretty dynamic duos

  • Awesome!

  • Gives me pleasure that my first comment will be for this splendid video! You have exceeded The Who!

  • wow :)

  • Are you kidding me? They're not even close, even though they're really good. You should be fucking ashamed. You can't be a fan of the who, so don't piss off us real fans.

  • to.....somuchtoplay

    Ashamed ?

    Why ?

  • VNG38 should be ashamed for saying such a stupid thing, you're really good and all, but have you exceeded the who? No.

  • unfortunately you are right, but without OFES.

  • Come off it, mate ... tribute artists, by and large, love the music just as much as the rest of us fans.

It beats just putting the CD on and having an empty stage. Playing music keeps it alive; these guys do a good job.

Sure it doesn't beat seeing the real thing (and I finally found out what that was like in April!) but I mean fuck's sake ... it's just a fun night out.

  • the version of fakeox, this, but incredibly true, is the top of the top. .... else? useless.

  • Just asking. You guys are fantastic, and the only Who cover band that sounds closest to the original that I've ever heard.

  • Great sound! Who provides the background synth for you?

  • It's like asking "How did they get the caramel in the Caramilk bar", You wouldn't REALLY want to know, would you??

  • hm...

nobody can sing like townshend, can sing better, but not like him

  • is this pete townshend?

  • Nope, he just looks, sings, plays & moves a lot like 'im.

  • Dear Dave:you have something special:the best of gusto.Ho followed The Beatles.Rolling Stones.Dire Straits.Tina.REM.Madonna.Sting...and suzie4.i stopped this video-The WHO!

  • this -the best of WHO !!!!!!!!!!BRV Fakeox!

  • SUPER-SUPER video:super music..super.. rock..The Wholigans=big/big.FAKEOX-THANKS !

  • wow! the guitarist even has the 1981-82 Townshend frazzled look. sounds good too.

  • Sure, let's see 'em......

  • awsome 5/5

  • The irony is that the bass player is overplaying. One of the only Who songs where John ISN'T soloing the whole time!

  • I completely agree. John is calm in this song, especially at the beginning and for a lot of the first lyric.

  • great stuff guys--please come to new jersey!!

  • excellent stuff bro--honestly. I love it.

A tribute band that finally got it right--and not for note too!!

  • I think Pete's wearing his piece in this one

  • so cool love it

  • theres a band from cincinnati called the wholigans and they would bust this band ass.good guitar playin but cant sing at all like townshend

  • Agreed...they're a cover band they covered this song perfectly! Awesome!

  • really good! The sound is fine. So what if they copied a solo. They Are A Cover Band!

  • the bass sound is god awful. The solo is directly copied from 82 Toronto

  • it's not 100% awful--if they added a little more bottom end, they would have enwhistle's bass sound for this song!

  • Hi Skidrow75! I had a 50 watt amp with 2 300 watt speakers miked & a DI. The mix & tone were what the soundman wanted live, i kind of like it myself..

  • wow, this sounds incredible. I can't believe everyone got the tone nearly exact. after hearing the intro with the guitar solo, I thought.. there has to be a catch.. let me guess, the singer is going to suck.. man was I wrong!! 10 / 5 stars.. brilliant job.

  • whats the name of this singer?how old is this

  • Hi! John Walsh is the singer & it's 20 years old.

  • do they still perform?

  • Pretty Damn Good!

  • Dancing Townshend is just priceless! The song itself is also great though I think The Who performs it better.

  • HEY, This awesome lead singer bought me, a complete stranger a WHO ticket for the 2000 show. GOD BLESS THE WHOLIGANS, THX BARRY I cant repay you ever, but i LOVED the show and the seats. This man is an angel! GREAT JOB, Maybe ill see ya when you come up near detroit

  • very cool cover.

  • were czn i get they synth?

  • its a simple synth keyboard and an arpeggiator...

nord makes a full line of adjustable synths that have it all built in...

  • This is probably my fave of old Wholigan clips. this and Sister Disco. Oh and look, Barry's playing guitar!

  • hey stj0691...close enough

  • what's close?

  • were can i book these guys?

  • Comment removed

  • where can I get that synth?

  • Have mercy!

  • Awesome ! Have a Merry Christmas and a rocking New Year !
