@Petethepedalopirate Aaaah sorry yeah you're right, why the hell did I say oboe? I'm a moron sometimes, I don't know :P No matter, it sounds brilliant :)
IN RAINBOWS is not my favorite. But its still a good album. Id say Faust Arp sounds a little like the old RH. Has anyone heard Thom Yorkes Solo work??
@MrDeconstructionist I have heard his solo work, its kinda a mix between Hail to the Thief and Kid a, its really cool actually. they evolve on you like the rest of it. try search "Harrowdown Hill","Analyse" and "The Eraser"(also album title), its some nice songs.

i love this radiohead era i hope the new album sound like amnesiac and hail to the thief cause In Rainbows was very... WTF? lol they doesnt make a bad album but i say again WTF happend ? do thom yorke try to make a pop album or what? cause it isnt rock or alternative just sound like pop to me just my opinion anyways love this song and this live performance :D 5/5 and happy faces :D:D:D:D
Well this song is pretty hard to play exactly like the album version, same thing I like this version, but they dont played anymore Life in Glasshouse, it's sucks 'cause this song is the best in the Amnesiac.
en el 01:38 el trompetista solea y desafina hasta el 01:41 suena horrible... despues se equivoca muchas veces mas... arruinó el temazo que es esta canción. una lástima.
how many poeple who are actually in radiohead are playing this? Thom and Dr drummer? Maybe Mr base I saw johny in background playing withhimself was he doing something?
Actually the only person not there is Ed. Jonny is on piano and Colin is on upright bass. But that's beyond the point... It's a Radiohead song because they wrote it... duh...
Probably cause one of the "old men" is humphrey lyttelton who died not long ago. I think in that context the comment might have seemed a bit tastless. so lol @ you
true but after a long time of listening to radiohead, you begin to like everysong they make, i dont fucking know why but even if it soudns more rock in an other you'll like uit anyway, and thats what i fucking love about them!!genius
radiohead are my fav band but your not going to like every song they have and this is one i normally dont listen too, although it was cool when it apperaed in the film children of men
i have all their albums and b sides byt tbis particular song doesnt do it for me,its prob the jazzy edge to it!there must be one rhead song that doesnt get ye going?!
well, not all of them make me react the way certain ones do, but i cant say theres a song of theirs that i dont care for or wouldnt listen to numerous times. naturally we all favor songs over others though i spose.
agree'd and i especially love this song, i feel something different for everyone of their songs, not alot of bands succeed in making the listener feel a different way just from listening to the music. but this bad definitely does it. gotta love Radiohead :)
Part of the brilliance of Yorke and Radiohead is the asynchronous aspects in their writing, in Thom's vocals, and in their arrangements. The use of a jazz arrangement emphasizes the ansychronous aspects, and is yet another facet that demonstrates their brilliance and innovation.
"Well of course I'd like to sit around and chat, but someone's listening in." What an incredible way to close an album, eh?"...
Way too cool! I gotta confess, Amnesiac was a little hard to get used to, but I like it now. I saw a documentary like in '04 where Thom was saying that he regrets not going this way (musically) a long time ago. And I was just watching their "Meeting People Is Easy" documentary, he plays this tune acoustic during a soundcheck...fantastic!
yeh, radiohead is way ahead of the game, a lot of people don't realize, but 100 years from now, this is still the band we will be talking about, I saw them live, and they are way way ahead of anyone. They are using concepts in music that most rock bands, do not even think of.
its a brilliant album, apart from track 3 which is a load of wank. originally they has cuttooth and fog and there. if they kept it that way it woulda been even better
