Nowadays it's who ever has the Nuke, theirs probably like 100's of submarines hiding in the ocean's, if a country were to war with each other, they'll nuke em instead of dying honorably face-to-face... not even a fire fight between guns would happen!

What did the nuke cannon in C&C generals always say ... "brighter then the sun" well I guess she is ... eh was. Well actually the Yamato was a swimming weapon of mass destruction platform!

There she is ... the most powerful BBs EVER ... I think she could take on the Bismark, Hood and King George V at the same time as a true SUPER Battleship ;).

No wonder over +250 aircrafts were sent in to sink her cause the allies knew that every battlefleet would result in heavy casualties and just a madman would fight a super battleship like the Yamato ... too bad she never saw real combat like in the atlantic those battleships did!

Very moving, as is the thought of all the men who died. For me this event signalled the death of the battleship itself, and its replacement by the carrier.
