The world is much different today, but as for the Japanese who fought, lived and died on the Battleship Yamato, I say to them, it would have been the highest honor to have faced you in battle, and you will always be honored, and never forgotten.
im a malaysian, n japan has invade malay lands on 2nd world-war, but it a old stories,,,,, yamato ship fall in honor, its fight the enemy to the very last end.. two thumbs ups , hail to yamato
I wish I could hug the people who made the Battleship and give them all medals for creating something only a gauntlet of planes could outmatch that being 349+
@kosketa Hey Kosketa, Yeah i'm totally against Slavery, I am very big on tradition, one cannot forget where he comes from i believe, we must take the good and the bad together and use our past to move toward a better tomorrow. I do not believe anyone will be laughing my friend ^_^ they are too busy laughing at me hehehe. Kuhmo music festival? where is that being held? Lol what golden ring?
they could both learn a think or 2 from the British
HE WHO RUNS AWAY LIVES TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY
the British have the sense Not to die pointlesly but fight as good as any if they have to but to die pointlessly WTF should they maybe its one of the reasons they had the biggest empire on earth am sure the other was good or bad colonies lived better under the British than any other
the world today needs no need for a ship anymore.. Nowadays it's who ever has the Nuke, theirs probably like 100's of submarines hiding in the ocean's, if a country were to war with each other, they'll nuke em instead of dying honorably face-to-face... not even a fire fight between guns would happen!
What did the nuke cannon in C&C generals always say ... "brighter then the sun" well I guess she is ... eh was. Well actually the Yamato was a swimming weapon of mass destruction platform!
There she is ... the most powerful BBs EVER ... I think she could take on the Bismark, Hood and King George V at the same time as a true SUPER Battleship ;).
No wonder over +250 aircrafts were sent in to sink her cause the allies knew that every battlefleet would result in heavy casualties and just a madman would fight a super battleship like the Yamato ... too bad she never saw real combat like in the atlantic those battleships did!
Very moving, as is the thought of all the men who died. For me this event signalled the death of the battleship itself, and its replacement by the carrier.
To fight the odds of being out numberd and to a point out guned...but to keep on fighting...that shows how brave they were...so what if they were the enemy in WWII....i may not be old enough to be a cop...or in the military for being only 15...but i do salute them because of their breavery...*Salutes*

We, Japs and Finns , are living "in other side of Earth", but we have
some common. Finnish "Sisu" means attitude against all kind of slavery.
You have samekind tradition, too.
See You in Kuhmo ChamberMusic Festival, next summer ?
I´m one among the crew, with mouth-harp. My piano is too heavy to carry, allthought it´s just few miles from Your "future-summer-cottage" ;-)
I apologize my poor english, Our daughters and sons will laugh on us, anyway !

Admiral: Send battleships to engage!
Vice Admiral: That's not a good idea sir, we cant let our battleships to face THAT!

auesome ship and crew even though they were the enemy, fought to the last man unlike the germans.

And that's a good thing?
chrthiel 2 years ago
they showed guts....but the germans ran like cowards...
SlavetradeDIE 2 years ago
So, that just shows that the Germans had a more practical view of the tactical realities. (Hitler not included)
Better to run and survive to fight and fight another day than fight an unwinnable fight.

What do you mean unlike the Germans, loock at the history of Bismark, at least they sunk something.
