I'm not sure what these things are but I'm not sure how they could be seagulls OR balloons.I've never seen balloons in formation or darting around with such speed...and as far as seagulls go...I've never seen one of those in any sort of formation either. I'm really not into aliens, u.f.o.s etc but I saw something in the sky late one night this past summer as I stood out on our Okanagan pool deck. I believe there is a plausible explanation...but what that is.....who knows!??!!

I saw this exact same kind of objects over las vegas last sat of 2005, we counted 35, and could only be seen with binoculars, keep looking up!

Can't say what I think those are... I used to work at the landfill, and yes there are many, many seagulls in the Okanagan. But the way they seem to sit still in some frames makes me wonder... Too bad it's so shakey. All that said, I've seen unexplainable lights 3 times in the north and central Okanagan. So I definitely don't discount the possiblity.

They are planes and helicopters fighting the forest fire. I lived in kelowna and when the smoke was thick they appear like this. Trust me helicopters not birds

Those are seagulls. There are thousands of them around here. Contrary to what you posts about there being no seagulls here. Take a look at the dump some day or VSS.

The other problem I have is the zoom is so close you have no framer of reference to anything else around, ie the mountains, the buildings so it is impossible to judge distance.

Therefore, one can only conclude this clip is nothing more than fantasy.

I grew up in Kelowna, and I can assure you, there ARE a LOT of seagulls in the Okanagan. All you need to do is take a look at any school-ground field for proof. I've seen many more than this video shows (on numerous occasions) circling above, or scouring the grass for scraps of food.

This video is no more than a group of seagulls (very reflective in late-day sun) contrasting significantly against a darkened, cloudy sky.

c'mon... you can pretty much see the flapping of their wings ffs.

@prosaic13 Those are the fastest moving birds ever then. That's a few klicks out, which puts those objects several dozen meters apart at minimum. For an object to cover the distance between it's original position, and that of an adjacent object, it would have to be moving at a rate of x meters per second (x being the number of meters needed in order for the object to reach it's destination in, what... two seconds?) You're looking at bare minimum 10 meters per second. Show me a bird that fast.

@lamewarrior sometimes we have to take things for just as they seem. Cooper's claims were big, but when you think of a guy like J. Allen Hynek, and what he was suppose to be doing for the government, and what he ended up doing on his own there are some other credible people that have made claims like Coopers.

I think the real difference here is that in the early days of NASA a guy like Cooper was a hero. as far as I'm concerned his UFO comments only made him more worthy of this title.
