Instead of complaining about a smoking area he should have spent the day fixing the previous night's problems or ordering a monitor... they finally got the sound as he wanted it about 30 mins after his rant (proving if he had spent the time that second day preparing, none of this would have happened. That was painful to endure.

BTW, the inane chatter of some of the folks in this video notwithstanding, this was not an example of a "lame L.A. crowd." Folks were actually very supportive early on in the set. It was only after he started inexplicably railing against his fans that things really went south. Too bad; his first tunes were swell, and I hear once he pulled himself together halfway through it was a great gig, but I split after song #4, just 'cause it was pretty tense in there.
