I beleive arena is a free for all game type where you have spartans vs spartans and elites vs elites becaus ethey both have racial differences that would make the game unfair. But i believe arena is for MLG FFA.
i think the arena is a group vs. a group but at random 1 person will be picked from both sides to fight in a cage match bc if you seen at the part that said arena there were people fighting then inside that one place behide the computers it looked like there were people in there
ok i get it , elite vs spartans is where one side of elites or Spartans have a generator and that side has to destory it , my speculation can be verified as if you look at 0.44 - 0.46 you see the elites shield bar , but if you look at 2.04 you can see the humans shield bar can see the diff that the elites have a light triangle beneath their shields while the humans don't and if you go back to the part where the generator is destoryed , at 4.25- 4.26 you can see its an elites shield bar
@thundersaver so this means it is an elite destorying the generator with a rocket launcher while the humans are defending its a wide speculation but it seems correct if you ask me

active roster means that you can see the players on your friend's list and what they're doing. and loadouts means customizable players and weapons, the arena is an MLG ladder that bungie will track each month, and rank players according to skill. headhunter appears to be headshots only, and the more you get , the more skulls you collect the more points you get. sprints and rolls are for both races, spartans and elites. i assume spartans and elites means they will be the teams in deathmatch.

The xbox 360 core is around 299 while the ps3 core is 499, with both coming with the same harddrive gb space, so ps3 is just a useless, expensive peice of trash. The xbox 360 came out a year before ps3, so it already had a huge start on its awesome game selection, and still does, and the ps3's game selection is inferior.

@mawsite Microsoft may have the money, but they have to get money to keep up online support, tech. and facilities. Online for the 360 is good quality and you have 24/7 online suport, and they actually care about their players. WHile ps3 online just plain sucks, with poor support, and it crashes down so much more than the 360. Umm yeah the ps3 has blue ray wich makes it so expensive, while xbox 360 has seperate hd-dvd player for 200 dollars.

@smartman136. the shield is probably gna be one of the armor abilities. u can survive pretty much any damage but it only lasts for like 1 sec. u go down on one knee when u do it too so u can keep moving. and the rolling is gna be and elite ability. the spartans have sprint and the elites roll

@ghost345678 or they're using different control setting, i dont know if you ever knew this but you can change your gameplay control setting at the main menu in halo like southpaw, legendary, and default, (i dont know if southpaw is correct term i havent played in really long time) and if i remember correctly one of them used the x button to board vehicles :)

I beleive arena is a free for all game type where you have spartans vs spartans and elites vs elites becaus ethey both have racial differences that would make the game unfair. But i believe arena is for MLG FFA.

ok i get it , elite vs spartans is where one side of elites or Spartans have a generator and that side has to destory it , my speculation can be verified as if you look at 0.44 - 0.46 you see the elites shield bar , but if you look at 2.04 you can see the humans shield bar can see the diff that the elites have a light triangle beneath their shields while the humans don't and if you go back to the part where the generator is destoryed , at 4.25- 4.26 you can see its an elites shield bar

active roster means that you can see the players on your friend's list and what they're doing. and loadouts means customizable players and weapons, the arena is an MLG ladder that bungie will track each month, and rank players according to skill. headhunter appears to be headshots only, and the more you get , the more skulls you collect the more points you get. sprints and rolls are for both races, spartans and elites. i assume spartans and elites means they will be the teams in deathmatch.

The xbox 360 core is around 299 while the ps3 core is 499, with both coming with the same harddrive gb space, so ps3 is just a useless, expensive peice of trash. So that 2 or 3 crashes is still a pretty big deal that shows ps3 is just a cheap piece of shit that has no support. @mawsite Microsoft may have the money, but they have to get money to keep up online support, tech. and facilities. Online for the 360 is good quality and you have 24/7 online suport, and they actually care about their players. WHile ps3 online just plain sucks, with poor support, and it crashes down so much more than the 360. Umm yeah the ps3 has blue ray wich makes it so expensive, while xbox 360 has seperate hd-dvd player for 200 dollars.

@smartman136. the shield is probably gna be one of the armor abilities. u can survive pretty much any damage but it only lasts for like 1 sec. u go down on one knee when u do it too so u can keep moving. and the rolling is gna be and elite ability. the spartans have sprint and the elites roll

@migzaz15. nope. im sure. the arena is a type of playlist. basicly regular slayer with spartan vs. spartan things. notice how there are no elites when u see the arena. and ive read about it on the bungie thingy

yea makes sense but i was just arguing because i prefer having the spartans with the ability of sprint and roll not that i like more elites i like more spartans...

guys, halo using sprint isnt copying mw2. in order for any game to copy would be using same character names like ghost, same map names like afgan, gulag. halo is not copying anything. sorry for bad grammar

@10025820 umm not to get on your case but i can think of countless games that used the sprint capability so yeah and the ghost mask is irrevelant because bungie released sketches of character designs before mw2 was even released and showed a character with a ghost mask, so yeah dont u think that the ghost looks like the spartan mask in the LEAST bit should be your questions

@ghost345678 or they're using different control setting, i dont know if you ever knew this but you can change your gameplay control setting at the main menu in halo like southpaw, legendary, and default, (i dont know if southpaw is correct term i havent played in really long time) and if i remember correctly one of them used the x button to board vehicles :)

The fucking roll isn't AI because how often do you see AI running along hard to get places like that thin high up platform. Some people just don' think outside the box. Also all this footage is from the multiplayer alpha so unless there is some sort of firefight mode it couldn't possibly be AI
