I'm a total 80s guy. Def Leppard Pyromania Tour was my first concert ever. Taylor may be big today but she was nothing compared to the days when Def Leppard would beat all comers on the weekly MTV video battles. Joe Elliot still brings such power and melody to his voice that Taylor sounds like a background vocalist.

Man, this is a great combo! Taylor is SOOOO sexy and I love how they keep the song's basics and don't upgrade it to today's dance music style. Mariah Carey tried to redo Bringing On The Heartbreak and the result was painful due to her ooohing and ahhhhing, poor musicians, and a weird super quite style of singing. This Taylor/Def Leppard version keeps the rock ballad and adds a little country steel. The result is a song that appeals to both bands fans. Awesome job!

I saw Def Leppard in LaCrosse WI back in summer of 1988. That concert was incredible from sound, lights, lasers, theater in the round, and female aesthetics. Looking back, I realize now they were really ahead of their time with the whole concert package. I am not a big Swift fan, but she surely adds to the beauty of this classic, in more ways than one. I can't stand todays hip hop rap noise. Joe's intunes screams with Taylor's smooth sound are a perfect fit for this timeless track.

@tlisaacs1974 ...but as a longtime DL fan, I do have to point out that they certainly knew they were extremely lucky to be playing with a *current* multi-platinum selling artist from another musical genre that could give a big boost to their Greatest Hits & catalog sales. Business-wise, this was Win-Win for both of them. I simply wonder why the audio wasn't released officially - it would have sold by the ton to both Taylor and Leppard fans, as I'm sure the DVD is.

She thanked them at the CMT Awards when she won she talked about how exciting it was to be able to play with her heroes, Def Leppard. Over the years I've seen various Def Leppard stuff around her, like she had a pic of her vinyl collection and Pyromania was in it, and there was a Hysteria poster in her closet, etc.

@tlisaacs1974 I think they're pretty lucky too. I was a HUGE Def Leppard fan from On Through The Night until Hysteria. Then they veered into soft Hysteria copycat directions and lost me. I think when Steve Clark passed, a lot of the magic died. He was the genius behind the guitar hooks in the songs that everybody loved. Taylor's a real breath of fresh air and it's fantastic that she has such great taste in music. She brought me and others here, and interest in Def Leppard has been reborn!
