gotta tell you, their album is great, but they are TERRIFFIC live. i was at their album release party in athens last year, and they were amazing, great energy and perfect sound, unlike many bands out there who sound good in the studio but crap on stage.
I saw them (and met them) last year. They remembered me from the front row. I thought it was pretty cool. I want to see them live again. They are all really nice. :)
I don't know why but this song in combination with the video kinda reminds me of that movie Detroit Rock City. Which is good i fuckin love that movie haha.
I didn't expect much from these guys, but when I saw them open for KoL two nights ago, I was thoroughly impressed. Will definitely be checking out some CDs when I can.
heard them for the first time ever live a year ago and they blew me away. my band covers this song now and it gets sh*t rocking, come back to richmond soon boys!
I met them on my birthday and they liked my Sonic Youth shirt and Parker and i talked about his switch from his L-6 to an ES-339. They were extremely good live!!!!
When they came up to Boston, some ass was yelling to Parker (Lead Singer) "Flannel!" and "Where did you get your flannel?", And in response (I think) he said "This next song is called 'Don't Talk No-more". Gold.
does anyone else think its sad that this guy was at a concert and instead of chillin to the music he was being a prick? and yellin shit to parker? i mean when im at concerts i listen to the music and kick back. Thats just me.
i kinda wish the KoL werent big though now everyone is talking like they are there biggest fans i was with the kings of leon since the beginning and now that everyone has heard use somebody or sex on fire they act like there all cool
wow....you "were with them since the beginning" congratulations. if you were really a fan you would be happy that they are more popular now.... I didn't start listening to them til i saw them on saturday night live....and I downloaded every album and listen to everyone all the time....not just their new stuff.....so screw you with your negativity towards them. I waited outside MSG in Jan. freezing for 6 hours...and was the first on in the GA section....and it was great....keep complaining.

This song is great live!
I had the privilege of hanging out with these guys last night after their show in Columbus at the basement. They are so genuine and cool(oh yeah, plus they rocked everyone's faces off). My new favorite band. Everyone should buy their cd(instead of burning it from someone else) cause if there ever there was a band that deserved it, it's the Whigs.
i saw them about a month ago in san diego and they're coming back for street scene in september. also from that first show, MGMT and cold war kids are at street scene. heaven
