I vote for the good of the country, not for gay rights. If I think a conservative policy can keep track of my country, and although I vote for it. Sarah Palin thinks she wants about gay people, If she wants to pray for homosexuals become heterosexual, and although it does so if that's what she thinks. I'm also a believer, and a homosexual who has not chosen to be, and I think that homosexuality is not a sin. She lets us live simply. And I do not see how that offends me.
Maybe if Sarah Palin put herself in our shoes, she would know how much pain it is to be gay. How many people judge you and take your rights away as a person. The dept of education is in charge of content of what is taught in school. As in sex education, you will have opportunity to "opt out". This knowledge isn't provided during the election due to one-sided ads. Perhaps some real research will give you some peace of mind.

Look at the ages of the justices on the Supreme Court. In the next four years, their could be up to 3-4 vacancies as liberal justices retire. McCain/Palin have been very upfront in saying they intend to nominate conservative judges who will reverse Roe vs. Wade. They have stated this is their intent and I take them at their word. If Roe vs. Wade falls, do you think Lawrence vs. Texas is far behind? In a heart beat, everything we have gained in the last few years could be lost.
I survived two years in the ex-gay ministry. While I don't agree with Obama and his position on gay marriage, it frightens me to think of Sarah Palin in the WH. Before you vote for McCain/Palin, think about the type of judges their administration will nominate. Think about the religious right wing organizations who will have an open invitation to the WH. (CWFA, Focus on the Family, etc) Do you really want another President who will allow these organizations to influence his decisions?
During the VP debate both Sarah Palin and Joe Biden said they are not for gay marriage. I'm not sure why people here wants to give their vote to Obama/Biden when they don't want you to have the right to get married.

If one of them actually had a soul, then maybe I would support that person as a minor, but I hate all four of em. The dept of education is in charge of content of what is taught in school. As in sex education, you will have opportunity to "opt out". This knowledge isn't provided during the election due to one-sided ads. Perhaps some real research will give you some peace of mind.

So many problems with this. First, the pastor is clearly in the bag for Obama. He's wearing a button and lives there putting his book into the libraries. If they're political enemies and there is an outcry by the public to remove his book, of course it would get removed. Its not like she took out other gay works.

Actually, she did indeed attempt to remove other books. As for Howard Bess, you would be wise to both read his book (I have), and to know that he has been responsible for building housing and creating many of the worthy programs to help reintegrate mentally ill, homeless, incarcerated, and LGBT people all over Alaska, into society. He has more education than the Governor, certainly more foriegn experience, and It's EXTREMELY hard to be out in this state, most folks are scared of cameras.

Look at the ages of the justices on the Supreme Court. In the next four years, their could be up to 3-4 vacancies as liberal justices retire. McCain/Palin have been very upfront in saying they intend to nominate conservative judges who will reverse Roe vs. Wade. They have stated this is their intent and I take them at their word. If Roe vs. Wade falls, do you think Lawrence vs. Texas is far behind? In a heart beat, everything we have gained in the last few years could be lost.

I survived two years in the ex-gay ministry. While I don't agree with Obama and his position on gay marriage, it frightens me to think of Sarah Palin in the WH. Before you vote for McCain/Palin, think about the type of judges their administration will nominate. Think about the religious right wing organizations who will have an open invitation to the WH. (CWFA, Focus on the Family, etc) Do you really want another President who will allow these organizations to influence his decisions?

During the VP debate both Sarah Palin and Joe Biden said they are not for gay marriage. I'm not sure why people here wants to give their vote to Obama/Biden when they don't want you to have the right to get married.
As for Sarah Palin, she should have used the word "respectful" instead of "tolerant" when referring to gay partnerships. Tolerant sounds condescending.
Bottom line, neither ticket is for gay marriage, which should not make gays eager to vote for one party over the other.

Well first off, there a many MANY other important reasons to vote for Obama/Biden over McCain/Palin. AND you will find that MOST of those reasons represent an ideology and world view that by its nature is much more conducive to respect and acceptance toward gay people and a desire to treat them as equal members of the American family. The reality is, Obama-Biden ARE for marriage equality. They will appoint judges that affirm that. They simply can't say it out loud, or they WON'T be elected.

I personally don't like either candidates or their VPs (that's also partially to do with me not being 18 yet). If one of them actually had a soul, then maybe I would support that person as a minor, but I hate all four of em. In last nights debate when Sarah Palin said she would "tolerate" us. Screw her! I hope she is sent back to Alaska. Tolerate is what a racist does.

Why torture Alaska anymore? Send her to Russia! She could take over and ruin someone else for a change!!! (And drill/hunt as much as she wants! Talk about deregulation...why don't these deregulation retards move over to where their communist ideals can truly be realized???) Ultimate executive power, no regulation, rampant corruption!!!! When you come into this world, you get to choose your sex. Some are not sure and sometimes make a wrong choice. They then end up being in the wrong body. That is how gay people come about. Some guess correctly and end up in the right body. Most are sure that they are male or female so most end up as heterosexuals. Gay people should be accepted as full human beings, in all walks of life because being gay is no big deal. My source for this info is Billy Meier, who got it from the Pleiadians.

we thought joe made a great point on the basic, constitutional and legal rights for same sex couples. He said ABSOLUTELY they deserve the same rights as a hetero couple. Sarah, as many noticed, said.. "well if we give them those rights, the next thing ya know they will want marriage" Our history shows us the ignorance and struggles of many classes to simply obtain equality. when will we learn is the message in my newly posted video on rights, check it out and rate it, share it, add it!

if your going to quote, do it right. Well, not if it goes closer and closer towards redefining the traditional definition of marriage between one man and one woman. And unfortunately, that's sometimes where those steps lead, Palin responded, adding that her answer shouldnt be taken to mean that she would be anything but tolerant of adults in America choosing their partners, choosing relationships that they deem best for themselves. see any difference?

Now, four networks' polls are in -- CNN, CBS, ABC & NBC. Of course, people polled on all four thought Biden easily won the debate (CBS by almost 20%). Even AOL, normally very right leaning, gave it to Biden -- as well as BBC, Router and Gallup. In otherwords, everyone in the world except Fox. The nightly polls show an overwhelming majority polled by the major networks and news sites still think Palin is unqualified to be VP. No surprise. Can't wait to see Tina do some of Palin's answers.
