Still really funny though i've seen another version of this which i prefer. for example he asks the coffee man if he player the piano and when he says no victor feels safe... until he plays on his flute. And when the autograph kid starts playing he just stands there until he's done then says "out."
@civilbb lol my dad plays cello and he has amazing hearing. I've been coming with the Bach adagio and fugue for about 5 lessons and then one day my dad was listening to me practice and found 3 different wrong notes that I was playing that my teacher didn't notice and my teacher has a doctors degree lol it's hilarious
It's Waltz Op. 64, No. 1. Also called "valse du petit chien" or roughly translated "puppy waltz" :) In English it's also called "Minute Waltz" though why i don't know. Lovely piece!
ahaha, maybe he's a really good musician. I played once with those kind of gloves but it's really slippery and to play at that speed, he must be a really pro.
I think the London one was funnier, maybe because I saw that one first, but the technique of these guys are definitely better, the playing flowed much better
Ahaha, no i can play but i'm not a pianist, havent been playing for 6 years now, not after i complete my grade 8 and decided to take violin. Used to dream of becoming a pianist but not until i fell in love with violin...and since music's not popular in my country, i decided to get a master in Pharmacy first then self support (if possible) to further my studies in Music. If only i still have to chance haha.
Nice one. How bout falling in love with me, as I play the violin. Well, I used to, until I decided that law would make me more money, but I was trained to be a soloist. I was useless, absolutely useless at the piano. GOt Grade 5 when I was 18, because the teacher who taught composing forced me to.
You're 19 and you are studying for a Masters in Pharmacology? You're a genius! Its really hard to drop out of the music scene and attempt to return. Trust me, I'm only half out and I cant get back in already.
Oh no no,i'm taking an Integrated Master degree, means i study for 3.5 years and i graduate holding a Integrated master of pharmacy cert, that's what i've been told haha. But in UK, they call this master of pharmacy....swt, actually i'm not sure myself as well, althought we have the cert bearing 'master of pharmacy' but we're actually integrated masters. Oh i may be wrong. Gotta check first haha. Oh it's not pharmacology, it's Pharmacy, althought we do focus on pharmacology.

What does the man who is wiping the piano say in 1:43?
JuliInCB 2 years ago
"That's a nice piece. Boy my life - my wife likes that one."
I don't think he was meant to say life and tries to recover but there seems to be a cut there.

I just about wet myself watching this! LOL!
Excellent post.
Seriously, though. It must take a great deal of skill to deliberately make mistakes like that for an accomplished musician.
radostsguy 4 years ago 7
This is one of Borge's stock routines, you can find this from other concerts, elsewhere on YouTube.

Glad you guys enjoy it. I found this funnier than the one where Victor Borge performn in London, when he's older.
carolynkkh 4 years ago
I think the London one was funnier, maybe because I saw that one first, but the technique of these guys are definitely better, the playing flowed much better
