Does any one know who the German man was at 4:11 ?
I am very curious as to who he is as he is suspiciously like Dr strangelove, and to think a character like that is based on a genuine individual is astonishing.
Great doco..but it is more a piece of art. If you haven't already look at machines of laving grace by adam curtis..that will blow your mind. these videos captivate me.

Question: How was this documentary made, released and distributed over public airwaves if, as YouTube claims, the audio track "has not been authorized by all copyright holders" ? They get to watch it all over the world (e.g., Korea) and there's no problem. But then, this film is about us, so on a technicality it must be censored by the powers that be. All the music on the soundtrack is available online & on YouTube -separately, of course. Obviously it isn't the music they felt the need to block.
the best Adam Curtis film yet. those copyright issues are a dodge. it's a convenient way to prevent his films from being seen, particularly in the US where the message could do the most good. but it's still available for free on his blog if you're browsing from a British IP. funny how that works isn't it. copyright holders must not be able to make any money off their works in England, huh. learn how to use bittorrent, people--and if the work moves you to it then buy the DVD if it ever comes out.
