Paul Was The Textbook defenition of "anal" when it came to playing the songs he wrote from about 1968 on. take ringo's "IVE GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS" from helter skelter. they had done over 40 takes of one song. Paul is a great guy, no question about it. But The Beatles only worked as a group of equals, like in the beginning, not "Paul mccartney................and the beatles!"

They all are just so talented. I mean really, we know Rings as a drummer, and here he is playing the piano. It's not something you decide you're going to do. It's either you're taught or you're just so musically inclined that you can learn by ear. And the Beatles were just that. They were all self taught and music came natually. You just gotta love them
