@chaz2290 Robert basicly is Iron Man. Their personalities are very similar in that they're both very talented guys that can be quite egotistical, but underneath that really is a heart of gold. Add to that both Robery and Tony have history of drug and alcohol abuse, and it really shows. Robert did use a lot of his own experiences in order to shape the character, so it really shows how much it really is just him in the suit
