So as long as you have a psp, linked to your ps3, and the internet somewhere in the world you can do remote play...? That's awesome.

@jordananthonyruiz its prtty much the ps3 on the go so u can watch vids, browse photos, and listen to music on the ps3'z HDD. also if u dont have psptube for ur psp (CFW needed) u can watch youtube and other vids on the psp. And u can go to the Playstation store and download games so u can b rdy to play them at home. AND u can play some games from the PS3 (im not sure for other games but Pixel Junk Monsters is 1) and ALL games from PS1... Hope this responce helped

mine will not work via internet, but via private network works fine,,, i am at home when i try it,, test it, using the same wifi connection, i go through the signing in and all seems fine with that, but it comes up with a "connection timed out" any help with this, anyone

that has to do with your router or if you even have one considering that u connect your ps3 with a ethernet cable

Hey can you use remote play to use the PSP wireless from your couch while the PS3 is online with a cored connection to broadband or do you have to have a wireless access point if so I'm screwed lol? I want to use remote play from my PS3 and surf the net from my psp is that possible or not with a corded internet connection to my PS3

if the ps3 is connected to the the internet then u can use remote play, but if u go out then u need wi-fi to use remote play

No, u have to choose if u want to turn off the ps3 when u quit remote play.

btw, how do games play over remote play? is there a lot of lag? a game like dead or alive is pretty twitchy thus lag would ruin it.... have you tried playing a game like dead or alive at starbucks or the libary? was it playable (not much lag in response)?

There was hardly any lag when I played it at starbucks but I guess it depends on the signal strength and its really responsive too. Theres also connection settings just in case theres lag.

do u have the fat psp or slim?

sometimes mine works but then other times it fails to turn on the ps3 and then when it says "error" the ps3 finally turns on

u know if u have oritional playstation games u can play them if the discs are in the ps3, u can play them on ur psp...just before my connection got lost i was playing twisted metal 4...try it

yea i realized that once i saw the video a second time

i have a problem with my remote play feature via internet. it used to work, but now it doesnt turn the ps3 on wen i select "via internet connection"

it just tries to connect and after the 90 seconds it says it was unable to connect. can u help me?

it might be the connection strength try to get closer to the router and it works better if your ps3 is connected with the ethernet cable and if that doesn't work go to the remote play settings on the ps3.
