They use nose plugs? How cool is that...you don't have to breathe out of your nose to keep water from going up your nose while swimming so thus you stay under longer before you take a breathe...genius!

not really, most swimmers get used to water going up their nose but some hate it enough to use a nose clip. But I wouldn't say it let's u stay under longer

I just can tell you that nose plugs are really useful!they really help you if you don't like the feeling of having water going up you nose, specially during the turns.i use them for swimming and i just can tell you that they are kind of protection like goggles are for you eyes :)

side, I feel really sorry for Hayley Mcgregory. She definitly is a heartbreak

kid. Hayley's time here in all likelyhood

would have won a medal of some kind in the

McGregory qualified 2nd for the 200m backstroke final tonight. Really hope she qualifies.

In track and field its first 3 past the post that qualifies but only first 2 in swimming. What I would like to see is a Wild Card entry for each event given to the world's fastest 'non-qualifier'.

I also think defending champions for each event should qualify automatically for the next Olympics. That would leave two available spots alongside the champion Coughlin.
