The album is Freudiana.. and more Eric's work than APP. But who cares.. apart...together... Eric and Alan ... have made their mark in the world of music. Though Eric is gone..and one day Alan will be.. Their legacy is and will be the many songs and instrumentals that they have created.
I have to agree with TheCryingMachine and fernandocatan. Recently, I have been sharing this brilliance with some musically gifted friends. Their suprised delight that someone has been creating music and lyrics at this level, in these times, has been wonderful to experience. Alan was not angry, thank God.
Only the very best can make brillance seem simple like this piece. What an incredible meditation on our condition. The world is a darker place with the passing of Eric Woolfson. The 'current crop'--vacuous record-scratchers and bragging mike-clutchers will never be able to produce anything remotely like this. NEVER!
I agree but, then again, if anybody could do songs like this one... it wouldn't be so good. I mean, GOD, I wished there was MORE music like this but besides its uncanny greatness, it makes it more special that seemingly there is nobody who could ever do something like this. Eric was truly a genius but you gotta give John Miles credit also, for his UNBELIEVABLE vocals.
@Fernandocatan the world has been darken more with eric's passing i agree, but if you want to brighten it listen to his visionary inspiring tunes what he left us will stand the test of time, most of todays music is angry one sided and ready for reaction, a bad song after all will get more press than a positive one as eric wrote what kind of madness rules the world today, a visionary he was indeed.
This is a wonderful song! It involves everything a song must have to touch poeple... rythm, sound, melodie, tact, lyrics and vibration though this is a very specific one tune... This song gives me comfort and peace in my mind and soul.... Hardly any other song can do this to me! I love this piece! Thank God for real music...
great tune, an obscure gem from Mr. Parsons and band. What album is this from? Mr. Miles voice sounds familiar; did he led his fine voice to the "Turn of a friendly card album durind late 70's?
Ciao Scubarulz, John Miles plays There but for the Grace of Gos in the Freudiana album by Eric Woolfson. John Miles was popular in the 70s because of his song "Music". he did not sing on The Turn of a friendly card. Probably the best song sung by Miles for The Alan Parsons Project is La Sagrada Familia.
Muy buen tema, ojala la puedan subtitular en español.

That's not an alan parsons project. It was probably written by the group, but it was officially released as a song of Eric Woolfson

John Miles sang lead vocals on the last song on "Pyramid." He's quite an excellent vocalist.
