I pray by speaking, I pray with folded hands, I pray with thoughts. I don't have a specific form of praying. I might be walking into a classroom and quick think "Lord, please help me, to not be nervous on this test." or at Church I will participate with the congregation. I find no particular way to pray except that I keep my personal one's just between me and Jesus.

New Muslim, born Jewish and Christian ( my heritage is Jewish my parents are practicing Christians). I've always felt Muslim since childhood- always. I always felt like covering, praying more times a day, food restrictions and not having premarital sex. But people ALWAYS tried to convince me that I was wrong. I am a Latter-day Saint (a type of Christian) and I pray as many times a day as I can. I read the Scriptures first (Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, Pearl of Great Price) and then I pray for however long my schedule will allow me. I don't use prayer beads or a prayer book. I then listen to a few hymns after words. I start the prayer saying, "Dear Heavenly Father", thank Him, ask Him for help, and close with "In the name of Jesus Christ, amen." Sometimes I pray more than 3 times a day
Christians are told to pray without ceasing... so it's not limited to and x amount of time a day. You shulc be in constant comunication with Jesus Christ our Lord. The Bible says that it is a shame for a woman to pray with her head uncovered. I can pray when I walk, or when I sit. Or I can stand or lie down. Sometimes I pray while I read the Bible, or pray the Bible verse, and other times I´m in prayer on my knees before the Lord.
When we pray together (congregation), the Imam leads (he recites and we follow him when he bows and prostrates (for my earlier comment, I meant prostration (I typed it wrong)). Just before we start praying, a man is calling for prayer (saying the adhaan/azan/ezan). We gather together and fill up the rows and pray. And before the prayer, we do an ablution.
As a muslim, I pray 5 times a day (by reciting from the Quran (of memory), bowing and prostating). These are obligatory, however we can also pray and thank Allah (God), for everything we got. In him we put our trust, and we hope for his mercy. When I pray, as I mentioned, I read from the Quran. First I read the first chapter (look for english translation),and then from wherever I want(which I know by memory (by heart)). Well as Muslim I pray 5 times per day also on Friday prayer is a spacial day like a Sunday prayer in church for Christians. How Do I pray? hmmm hard to explain cause I need a video or longer space to explain but it takes 2-3 minuets per pray so about 10-15 minuets per day and it's organized like 5:00 am in the morning for 2 minuets, 12:30 pm also about 2 minuets, 3:30 pm for 2 minuets, 6:00 pm for 2 minuets and last prayer about 7:30 pm also for 2 minutes everyday. However time changed always.

It's hard to practice your faith of Islam when your family still thinks you are a kid and they have to hold you hand and tell you what to do and criticize anything you do that looks particular to them and if you even have an interest in Islam they say they are concerned you are in danger of joining a cult religion or they say We are Christan and all our relatives were and are Christan. When offering a prayer of worship, I like to sing. When in public I sing silently in my head or a wisper. When praying for a need, for myself or someone else I prefer the Devine Mercy Chaplet. I like to set a little time in a place where I can really focus on that prayer.

I am a muslim and I pray the way Jesus and all of God's messengers prayed, by using a series of prostrations and bows to humble myself LOW to He who is MOST HIGH. I envision myself in front of him when I pray so as to stay "God-fearing" and I call on Him, waiting for the Day when He calls on me.
In the Bible we read about his followers asking Jesus Christ (Praise be to HIm) to teach them how to pray. He left us the most beautiful prayer, which begins with "Our Father". God is so kind to us, we can't possibly imagine.

To answer your question, I use many different ways of praying.
I try to read the Bible daily.
I use the Book of Common Prayer (used by the CofE), which contains morning, evening and night time prayers.
Often I simply pray in terms of 'speaking to God' about whatever is on my heart.
I have tried praying salat.
I pray alone or with others.
I find there is no ONE way to pray to God - but I believe he hears them ALL! :)

New Muslim, born Jewish and Christian ( my heritage is Jewish my parents are practicing Christians). I've always felt Muslim since childhood- always. I always felt like covering, praying more times a day, food restrictions and not having premarital sex. But people ALWAYS tried to convince me that I was wrong. To me being Muslim is truly living for God, before had I felt like I was living for man and expecting God to just forgive me. I LOVE JESUS with all my heart. I believe in the Holy Spirt.

I am a Latter-day Saint (a type of Christian) and I pray as many times a day as I can. I read the Scriptures first (Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, Pearl of Great Price) and then I pray for however long my schedule will allow me. I don't use prayer beads or a prayer book. I then listen to a few hymns after words. I start the prayer saying, "Dear Heavenly Father", thank Him, ask Him for help, and close with "In the name of Jesus Christ, amen." Sometimes I pray more than 3 times a day

Christians are told to pray without ceasing... so it's not limited to and x amount of time a day. You shulc be in constant comunication with Jesus Christ our Lord. The Bible says that it is a shame for a woman to pray with her head uncovered. So Lately I have been trying to speak to Christ many times through the day.. and make sure that I have a scarf or hat with me so that I can be modest befrore Christ. I can pray when I walk, or when I sit. Or I can stand or lie down. Sometimes I pray while I read the Bible, or pray the Bible verse, and other times I´m in prayer on my knees before the Lord.

When we pray together (congregation), the Imam leads (he recites and we follow him when he bows and prostrates (for my earlier comment, I meant prostration (I typed it wrong)). Just before we start praying, a man is calling for prayer (saying the adhaan/azan/ezan). We gather together and fill up the rows and pray. And before the prayer, we do an ablution.

Well as Muslim I pray 5 times per day also on Friday prayer is a spacial day like a Sunday prayer in church for Christians. How Do I pray? hmmm hard to explain cause I need a video or longer space to explain but it takes 2-3 minuets per pray so about 10-15 minuets per day and it's organized like 5:00 am in the morning for 2 minuets, 12:30 pm also about 2 minuets, 3:30 pm for 2 minuets, 6:00 pm for 2 minuets and last prayer about 7:30 pm also for 2 minutes everyday. However time changed always.

When offering a prayer of worship, I like to sing. When in public I sing silently in my head or a wisper. When praying for a need, for myself or someone else I prefer the Devine Mercy Chaplet. I like to set a little time in a place where I can really focus on that prayer.

I pray standing on my kneels, sometimes touch the floor with my forehead, covering my face with my arms, with my head covered (cause I am an eastern orthodox christian). I use the prayer book, something I always sing and not whisper, something I whisper, something I sing walking, sometimes I say only things that are in my heart. I know many Jewish prayers, some of them by heart, I dont make a difference, when I pray, I pray to God who is One and the Only One. Peace.

In the Bible we read about his followers asking Jesus Christ (Praise be to HIm) to teach them how to pray. He left us the most beautiful prayer, which begins with "Our Father". God is so kind to us, we can't possibly imagine.
600 years later a person in Mecca denied this, however I would prefer to trust those honest followers of Jesus Christ (swt) who were willing to give their lives to pass on the message of the good news of our salvation.

WE worship 5 times a day.
One before dawn. One in the Mid Noon. One late noon. One right after Sunset and the last one couple of hours after Sunset. And we do it day in and day out.
Men are recommended to Pray in the Masajid. Women can pray at home or in the Masajid. Its up o them.
And praying on time is very cruical unless you have very good excuse to miss them.

I am a Monotheistic Christian and I study & practice how to reverently approach the Creator, in prayer from the example of all of the prophets including the Messiah, Yeshua. Being a reverent worshipper of the One God is what unites all believers no matter which teachings we follow--Jew, Christian or Muslim. @FreakOfJesus777 Have you have ever learned about the Prophet Muhammad's revelation? It is a beautiful story. He learned some things about Christianity & Judaism. If you notice in the Bible, Jesus never told anyone to worship him. He always directed us to worship the Creator. So, "the way" is "this is the way to worship." When he prayed he said "Our Father in heaven" not pray to Jesus who walked the earth. Therefore he is not God. Jesus was a Nazarene Jew which is translated "The Way."

@M1ndzMoslem-Jew pray their way.We accept that.Each Jew in the order of prayer prays differently we are different &5 minutes ago I was someone else.We"ve groups which dance in place during prayer,groups which "I will proclaim you with all my bones(essence)" heard blocks away & the building shakes.Some pray singing soft melodies.We all wear the large shawl with 4 corners each with 8 strings,On the arm& head we have G-D's1name & Infinite Unity written.We have no patent on G-D's "ear".

In Christianty, you can pray however and where ever you chose. This is between you and God. U also don't have a certian amount that you have to pray. Prayer is like talking on the phone to God. You pray to him to thank him and praise him as well as to give him your concerns. And then you wait and listen for an answer. Yes God does answer.

I pray to the God of all, which is Allah. None other has the right to be worshipped except for Him. I think Allah resides in every person and He is waiting to show you al-mustaqeem (the right path). You don't have to be a Muslim to be a good person. All who are faithful to the the message of the Prophet Muhammed, Prophet Jesus, and others will be rewarded and shall have no fear.
