They all stop, but each one of them is thinking and feel the same experience in different ways relating it to their own personal experiences and thoughts, so each person is seeing the same experience and concert in a totally unique different way.
some music can stop me from what I am doing, and I will get kind of like this energy shoot up my body, and ...I am got
Adagio For Strings does that, as does the Death In Venice music track from Mahler
As does Otis Reading, and on and on
Like you say music IS awesome. It is a language which goes direct to our deepest interconnection, with each other, but with all species, and nature and the universe...
did you ever notice that people (and animals) tend to emote vocally pretty much with the same universal sounds. You can tell if someone's crying even if their from a country you've never seen, or know one bit of their language. Heck you can even tell if your dog's been hurt by their yelping, and I bet they can tell your mood by your sounds too. For whatever reason almost all living things use the same playbook for how to emote with sounds. and music is the art of sound.
Music is a universal way of delivering thoughts and feelings. It doesn't matter where music is coming from (geographically), all you have to do is listen. Music isn't something that can be stopped and searched at the borders.
I can't really finish this thought because I feel it's too big and it would take a long time to get everything out.
I think you can relate it to all the arts.
Music, Dance, Visual Arts, Film...etc. I think that's one of the many beauties to THE ARTS. :)
